IRIS' POV:
After school we met outside and we went to the nearest supermarket.
"I'll buy you whatever you want." She said, looking at me and smiling
"No! It's fine, I can pay for everything."
"I'd rather you save your money. Even if my father's a complete dick head he still gives me an over payed allowance."
"Thanks." I said, blushing.
"Go ahead and pick whatever you want, Don't be shy." Avery said, shoving me gently and we both grinned.
I ran to buy chips and cup noodles with a few drinks. My arms were filled with food until it all fell on the floor because of my clumsiness.
"You know it's a lot easier to carry them all with a basket?"
Avery said and she knelt down in-front of me and started getting all the food and drinks i dropped on the floor.
I knelt down on the floor helping her.
"What did you get?" I asked her
"I haven't gotten anything yet, I'll get candy and drinks later." She said standing up with the basket in her hand.
"Sorry." I said, she looked at me, She was a lot taller than me.
"You have nothing to be sorry for" She said patting my head.
"Now let's go to the candy aisle" She said quickly then grabbing my arm to run with her.
A few minutes later she gasped dramatically.
"What's wrong?" I turned my head then i gasped too.
She was holding a whole bucket if gum with a pack of lollipops on top.
"Are you seriously buying that?" I chuckled and put my phone in my pocket.
"Maybe?" She put the bucket of gum on the floor and threw the lollipops in my bucket of food.
"Is that all you need?" She asked
"This is enough." I said smiling. "Let me pay for a little bit."
"Over my dead body." she said "Let's go."
When the cashier was ringing the snacks i kept looking at the prices.
"570.05 dollars." The cashier said.
"I'm not letting you pay for that entire thing" I said.
"Watch me" She leaned towards me as she gave the cashier all the money.
"I cant believe you payed for that entire thing." I said in disbelief.
"Well you should because we're going to eat this all at your house" She said while carrying all the things. "Lead the way miss shortie."
"Hey! I'm not short!" I hit Avery on the shoulder and she laughed.
"Of course you're not~" She said sarcastically.
Even so i led the way to my house.
AVERY'S POV:
I carried all the things, not letting her carry anything which she made a little fit about.
"Oh come on Avery!! Let me carry some!" She said,
"Again, over my dead body. Is this your house?" I asked
"Oh we're here!!" She squealed excitedly and opened the door.
"MOM DAD IM HOME! AND I BROUGHT MY FRIEND!" She yelled. Then a woman rubbing her hands on an apron came out.
