"It's funny."
"I don't want to see it."
"Alex, come on. You have to watch it!"
"I'm busy."
"Twenty minutes of it."
"I have homework."
"Which class?"
"English."
"We didn't have homework in there."
"I have to do this test again and she wasn't there today so the sub gave me the test to take home. Homework."
"Oh that's easy. Every third answer is C except all odds which are A's."
"How do you know-"
"Doesn't matter. I have my ways. Now come on." The girl with long locks of blond hair grabbed her friend's arm and dragged her over to a laptop on a glass coffee table which sat a few feet away from the couch. She plopped down on the chocolate colored cushions and pulled Alex down with her. A youtube video was already open and ready to play. Alex sighed heavily.
"Twenty minutes, that's it." She decided. Her friend grinned and pressed play on the video. Less than three minutes passed before the lead of the video tapped musical made his first apperance.
"Rose, who is that?" Alex asked, eyes wide.
"Mason James." The blond answered simply. "Singer, actor, total hottie."
"I think total hottie might be an understatement. How old is he?"
"Turns twenty in Febuary." Rose nodded, proud of her knowledge even if knowing so much about a guy she never had met did make her feel a bit odd sometimes.
"He's only nineteen? Good lord, he's attractive." Alex sat up to get closer to the screen.
"Now do you see why I wanted you to watch this?"
"You said it was because this is funny."
"Partially." Rose gave a small shrug. "But mostly I wanted an excuse to look at Mason again."
"He's really hot."
"Yeah, I know." The two girls smiled at each other before leaning back and enjoying the play.
~~~
"Alex!"
"What?"
"Alex, Alex, Alex, Alex!!!"
"What do you want Rose?"
"Guess what, guess what, guess what!"
"What?"
"Mason James-"
Alex's head snapped up. She had been obsessing over the man for at least a month now. She had found that along with his good looks, singing, and acting he seemed to be a very good guy. Always polite and very funny.
"What about him?"
"He's gonna be on......" Rose paused for dramatic effect. "Choir boys."
"No. Way."
"Yes! He is!"
"You're kidding!"
"No!"
"We need to start watching it now!"
"I know!"
"Rose,"
"Yeah?"
"If you're making stuff up to make me watch TV with you, I will kill you."
"I'm not making it up!"
The two girls shared a sound almost like a squeal of happiness.
