The warm sun shines throughout Adventure Bay, with the clouds brisling against the wind. Several months ago, Marshals and Chase's baby, crystal grew only a couple of months older. Still young like the precious little gift god gave them to enjoy. Unfortunately, one of their lives has soon come to end in such a horrific way possible...
It was '6PM' late in the afternoon, chase and marshal we're chatting together by a small restaurant near town. They would soon be off to check on their child at home, while Rocky continued babysitting her until they'd returned.
"You know I never thought we'd come this far chase, and I gotta say, in all years of my life, I'd never thought it came out like this." The dalmatian smiled, chase nodded, also smiling.
"Yeah, I loved you marshal ever since we little pups; now we're finally together... Forever." Chase put his hand on Marshal's, wagging his tail.
Marshal giggled, blushing a bit. He stared at chases brown eyes with his blue sky eyes. Together, they ate their lunch before going back to work to finish up for the day. When suddenly something horribly went wrong. Both their handheld transceiver's went off at the same time.
"Marshal? Are there? come in marshal!"
"Chase? Do you copy it? We've got a slight problem!"
The two eyed each other, concerned but awfully confused. They both picked them up, talking to them separately.
"I'm here. What seems to be the problem?" Chase asked, narrowing his eyes while looking at Marshal.
Marshal gulped a bit nervous, wondering if he was in trouble. "I'm here, sir... Am I in trouble?" His tail curled in between his legs.
Then, static from Marshal's device begins to cut off as a familiar voice yelled in the background. It was his boss.
"Marshal, get down to West Avenue now! And if Chase is with you, bring him along! There is a massive fire! We need all hands on deck!"
Marshal flinched a bit by the ungrateful greeting. "A-alright, I'm on my way." He put his handheld transceiver in his pocket shirt. He looked at Chase, who was also quite upset about the situation. So, they hurried into chases police car to the given instructions given to them. Once they got there to the site, an unexpected fire was burning down a tall building.
Chase and Marshal got out of the car as police officers tried to calm the crowd of people, while the firefighters tried to put out the fire. Marshal immediately grabbed his gear and ran to his boss. He put his gear on, curious, staring at him.
"What the hell happened, sir?" Marshal frowned, watching the ashes and wood crackle and pop tear down the building.
Marshals boss shook his head in disbelief. "I'm not sure, but we're going to find out how and -" He replied until he was suddenly interrupted by a lady crying.
"SOMEONE PLEASE! MY CHILD IS STILL IN THERE!" Her tears rushed down her face as her husband tried to calm her down.
Marshals eyes widen in shock. "Wait, what! I gotta save her!" He panicked, softly growling at the fire in front of him. Marshals boss grabbed his shoulder, roughly pulling him back.
"That building will collapse any minute!" He barked, but marshal shook his head, insisting to take the risk.
"I have to try, we can't just leave people who are still alive in the fire, please boss... Let me try and save them..." Marshal begged, his ears flattened. Marshals boss sighed in defeat and nodded. He couldn't agrue with marshals' points of view. They we're fighters to risk their life's for anyone, especially a child.
