Untitled Part 1

In a week it's the end of summer break and I just got the keys of my dorm for the university. I walk towards the parking lot and open my car. As I do I see people looking at me across the street, I look back at them and they look away. I roll my eyes and open my trunk to get the last boxes. I walk towards the door of my building and open it, I press the button to the elevator and wait for it to open its doors. When it finally does I go inside and sigh, it goes up to my floor and I step out of it, I open my door and walk inside. As I walk inside I see stuff on the others person bed and I look at the bathroom to see that the door is closed but under the door I can see the light on. I sigh and groan to myself, I put the boxes down on the floor and sit on my bed the bed isn't at the regular hight but but it's about 80 centimeters up. I take out my phone out of my back pocket and open Instagram, I see that I have a message from someone that I don't know and I decided to leave it. as I closed my phone I hear the bathroom door unlock and I sigh to myself. The door open wide and I see a girl walk outside of it, she looks over at me in her eyes open wide. "hi, I suppose you're my roommate" she says and then smiles lightly, I look over at her at her face and I nod slightly, she smiles at my response "hi my name is Evie" I say almost in a whisper, "My name is Kate" she replies and comes over to me to hug me. she opens her arms and takes me inside of them, I pat her shoulder awkwardly because I'm not used to having hugs. I think she feels it because she quite quickly pulls out and smiles awkwardly. "sorry I'm not really a social person" I tell her and she shrugs "it's OK you don't have to apologize" she says and I smile lightly. I started unpack the things that are in the last boxes and I started to put them inside of my drawers, in my closet and in the bathroom. I finally pull out my cover in my sheets and make my bed. I pull out a plaid and put it across my bed. Open my charger on my table and plug it inside of my phone I then pull out my laptop and put it on my table.

she looks over at me and asked me if I'm OK. I look at her confused and I decided to lie because I don't think she really cares, "yeah I'm fine" I reply and fake a smile, "Are you sure?" she asks and I roll my eyes lightly, "yeah don't worry" I reply but she definitely saw that I lied. I think it's the first time that someone really asks me if I'm OK, I mean yeah people already asked me if I was OK but just as a polite question, they don't really care about the answer. But with Kate it's weird I don't think it was just a polite question. I don't know maybe it's just my brain acting on me once again because I didn't take my pills I don't know.

I turn around and without thinking I tell her the truth "not really actually" I say and she looks up from her phone, she first has a confused expression but then she understand that I'm replying to the question she asked minutes before. "oh OK well I'm sorry to hear that do you need something?" she asks and I shake my head no. "thanks tho" I say and form a line with my mouth. "Do you want us to do something?" she asks again and I look up at her, a grin "um I don't know" I reply honestly, "come on I'm not gonna bite you" she says and I chuckle, I finally agree. "OK so there's this party tonight and I think you should go, I'm going with some friends but you can come too. I don't know if you're a party person but you kind of look like one so that's why I'm asking, there is also going to be alcohol" she finishes her sentence and she catches my attention at the word alcohol, not that I wasn't listening but..

"yeah sure" I say in her face lights up.

I agreed because I mean it's a party first of all and there's gonna be alcohol so why not?.

"OK let me see your clothes" she says when I chuckle "what" she asks me and I put my hands in the air. "nothing go on they're in my closet" I say and she claps her hands together.

I sit back down on my bed and quickly look at my phone, I see that my mom tried to call me but I just ignore it I don't wanna talk to her and I surely don't want to respond to her.

I put my phone back down and look over at Kate, she holds one of my party dresses and has a excited expression across her face. "you're wearing this tonight" she says and I chuckle lightly. i kind of start like her and that's really rare for me to like people. "alright I will but what are you going to wear?"  I asked her and she smirks she takes her outfit out of her closet and show it to me, my mouth drops a little because she has the same taste of clothing as me "what is it bad?" she asks and I shake my head. "no it's perfect, I really like that dress" I reply with a genuine smile. "well you can borrow it from me any time you want" she says and I smirk "well thank you" I smile. "what time is the party?" I asked her and she looks at the time over to her phone. "um it's in about an hour and a half" she replies and i nod. "alright I'm gonna get ready then" I say and turns over to my bed where the dress is. I started undressing myself and I pull the dress over my head. I tried to zip up dress but my arms are too short, kat walks over to me and chuckles "let me help you" she says and takes the zip and closes my dress. I turn around to face her and she smiles "you look hot" she says and I looked down. I shake my head no and she looked at me confused, "yes you do!" she exclaimed and slightly slap my arm. I bite my lip and smile very lightly. she walks back over to her bed and changes herself. I go over to my mirror and stare at my body, the body I always hated but I always acted like I loved it and I was happy about my body and that I was confident when in reality I am everything but that. "do I look OK?" she asks and a big smile forms on my face, "yes you do" I say lowly. "do you want me to do your makeup?" she asks and I squint my eyes I'm not very used to people touch me and especially my face so I kind of think about it but then I agree because nothing bad could happen.

she takes her makeup bag and does my makeup, after about 20 minutes or so she was done with my makeup and took a picture of it. she showed it to me and I smiled, "do you like it," she asks and I nod, I kiss her on the cheek which I'm very surprised because I never do that but I decided to ignore it. "thank you" I reply and go over to my shoes I take out black heels and put them on. we now have about 30 minutes before the party starts, kate quickly does her makeup and she looks very pretty. she then finally asked me if I'm ready, "yes I am I'm just gonna take my bag and put my phone and then I'll be ready" I reply and she walks out of the dorm to wait for me outside of the room. I quickly take my bag and put my phone inside of it with some money just in case, accompanied with my wallet and my keys. I walk out of the door turn off the lights and lock our room. she looks at me and takes my right hand, we walk into the elevator end out of the building towards the parking lot. "hey Kate, how you doing babes?" a girl asks, she's leaning at her car and looks as pretty as kate is. "hey Maddie, I'm fine how about you," she asks and she shrugs "fine as always" she exclaims. "and who's that hottie?" Maddie asks pointing at me and I frown, "that's Evie, she's my roommate and she's coming with us to the party" Kate replies "Well welcome to the group then, I'm Maddie" she says as we walked towards her. she pulls me into a hug and I feel very awkward once again but I hide it, some people walked towards us and I assumed there are some friends of Maddie and Kate because they all hug them both. "what's up guys how you doing?" as black haired guy asks, his skin is black and he has a muscular body. "we're fine, this is Evie" Maddie says and points at me, I smile lightly and he pulls me into a hug but lifting me up I tried to get away from his grab but he's strong. "hey babes I'm Martin" he says and finally puts me down. "Stop carrying her already" Kate says and punches his shoulder. "Hey" he complains and touches his shoulder where Kate punched him. I smile and frown a little, "hi Evie, My name is Troy and this asshole is Matthew" he says and pulls me into a side hug. "what do you all have with hugs?" I asked chuckling and they all look at me "well you don't like that?" Matthew asks and i look at him, "do I look like I like that?" I ask and he shrugs. "I'm just not used to it" I reply and then he nods. "Anyway Evie the cars.

"I go in the passenger seat in Maddie's car and troy looks at me annoyed. "what big guy?" I ask him and he squint his eyes. "you're I frown "what? Bro I can handle alcohol better than you, of course it isn't" I say and he laughs "haha, you can take alcohol better than me? You're a lightweight honey" he says and I look back at him, "okay, were playing bear pong at the party" I say and he smirks "bet.²"
