"Well, are you two half-bloods gonna answer us or not?" I immediately burst into laughter. Ezen wasn't a half-blood, he was a satyr! I guess Ares' children were really dumb too.

Phobos and Deimos were clearly confused by my reaction, and now Ezen was laughing too.
"What is so funny?! You two are really starting to get on my nerves! What are you gonna do when our father shows up?"

I had no idea why I did this, but somehow I pinned Deimos to the wall. He was obviously surprised by this. He didn't expect a mere half-blood to pin him to the wall. He tried to push me off him, but I wouldn't budge.

"Tell us where the trident is." I yelled in his face, but he still wouldn't answer me. That's when I came up with a good idea. I didn't think it would work, but it was worth a shot.

"I wonder what your greatest fear is? Let's find out, shall we?" The next few minutes were kind of a blue. I had no idea how it happened.

I was just standing there and suddenly purple mist began coming out of my hand. Deimos' expression changed. For once in his life, he looked scared. Ezen didn't seem that scared though. He must've known what I was doing, but Phobos and Deimos were scared to death.

"Father, please! Please forgive us! We'll defeat the girl, I promise you we will!" Both of them fell to their knees, which must've been very confusing for the mortals.

They started begging me to forgive them and that's when I realised what I'd done. Somehow, I had manipulated the mist to make the two gods see their father, Ares, instead of me.

But my father was Poseidon, not Hades. It didn't make sense. How could I control the mist?
"I can't believe my sons are cowards! Let the girl face me! I'll beat her, don't worry about it!" Then they stood up and looked angry. My time as Ares had run out.

Some other biker dude appeared in front of us, but he looked older, maybe in his thirties or forties. He was bald, but he was wearing shades. I couldn't see his eyes at all.

Deimos and Phobos looked terrified again for some reason. It's not like I had actually defeated them in combat! Even Ezen looked afraid of the man standing in front of us.

"Who is that? Ares?" I whispered to Ezen. He was about to respond when the man chuckled.
"Not Ares. That's my Greek form. I'm Mars at the moment. And I would like to face you in combat, seeing as my sons can't even lay a finger on you."

"They're weaklings and cowards." I said, which offended his sons. At this point, I had had enough and just wanted to get the trident back. This quest was getting really annoying.

Why couldn't Percy Jackson have done this quest? Or some of the older campers? Why did it have to be me all the time? It was never anybody else, always me. Always Phoebe Eastwood.

"I know. They can never do anything right, can they?"
"Can we just get on with this fight? It's getting pretty late."
"Yeah. Let's get this over with."

His first strike nearly took my head off. His attacks were so fast, it was hard just to stay on my feet. Ezen took out his reed pipes and began playing, but Mars knocked it out of his hands. Deimos and Phobos were laughing the whole time, which was not helping things at all.

At one point, he slashed my back, which should've killed me, but somehow it didn't. I screamed in rage and pain. This stupid god was getting on my nerves.

This whole godly world was getting on my nerves. Then I raised my hand. I didn't know what I was doing, but I just began saying this spell.

Everyone there looked stunned. Mars even froze and gasped. I have no idea how this happened, but suddenly another me appeared right next to me! A smirk was on her face.
