A/N

This title sounds kinda smutty, I know. But I promise it's not. This is the best thing i've ever written.

The next day; 6:30 am

No Kayne, Kayne get down from there. Leave Taylor alone, Kayne nooooo! "Wake up you two! Time to start the day, I let you sleep in for an extra hour already!" What, Kayne? Are you okay? Fuck, another Kayne dream. Wait why am I up so early? Of shit, day one of hell. I forced myself out of the warm pocket air that was surrounding me and into the freezing cold depths of the morning. My brother, however, was still wrapped up in his little bit of heaven we have here so me, being the loving brother I am, ripped the sheets of of him so he would get up. "Wake up." I spoke loudly to him, "Give me back my blankets you-", "Hey yall, whatcha doin' still in bed?" Joe said as he entered our cabin (kind rudely if yah ask me), "C'mon lets go!" So Brody and I reluctantly put on our clothes and headed out the door.

We walked out onto the dirt road and made our way to the biggest cabin where we found our parents inside eating their breakfast at the table. "Hey boys! C'mon and eat before it's all gone!" My dad spoke with an overly-exited tone. When we got there we saw Joe standing by the door, "Work first! Than you boys can eat! Brody your back to the stables, Mason you're off to the cow fields." Although I was hungry for food, there was another hunger deep inside me: I need to see Zack again. "Are you fucking serious ugh" Brody said and walked off to where he would be working. I took the buckets and started walking out to the fields.

I stopped by the chickens first, collecting their eggs for breakfast tomorrow. Then went by the pigs making sure they were fed and had a clean place to stay. My mom then came by with a plate of snacks and refreshments, "Sweaty you've been out here for five hours", has it really been that long I thought to myself, "How about you go take a rest and I can take care of the cattle for you." She said with good intentions, "No! I can do it myself." I said, almost yelled, I had to see that cow again I thought. "Well okay, don't  over work yourself now honey."

I decided it was time to head to the cows. I opened the gates and walked in the field. At first, I couldn't find Zack so I filled up their food and cleaned up some of the fields. Then I spotted him over by the back gate, staring longingly at the sky. He heard me and looked up at me longingly. I wanted him and I could tell he wanted me, but he also wanted to get away. "You don't like being kept up here in this fence huh? I'm sure Joe won't mind if we go for a little walk together." I unlocked the gate and Zack followed me out.

"So..., how have you been?" I asked nervously as we walked around the grounds just the two of us. He looked up at me with a blank expression, "Oh that right, you can't talk. You just seem so real and pure, It's hard to find someone  like that." Zack looked down happily, god he was so cute when he did that. Wait, this is a cow, did I just call a cow cute? I mean he is but, do I have feelings for him? "Listen Zack, can I call you that?" Zack looked up and nodded, "I-I really like you, like more than just as friends like boyfriend kind of like." Zack stopped walking and stood there staring at me. Suddenly he bolted to me and I held him in my arms, his fur was soft and felt like the softest silk. "I guess this means you like me back huh haha." We started walking again, all we did was talk about life and death and stupid meaningless crap, but it wasn't meaningless to us. It all meant something, to the both of us.

I saw the sun starting to set and new it was time to head back. I opened the gate and he walking back inside his pen. We stood there for a while, just staring into each others eyes. I reached in for a hug, that hug felt like it lasted for an eternity. We stayed there for a while until I hear footsteps, I quickly leered back, I can't have anyone find out i'm in love with a horse. It was Brody coming to tell me it's time for dinner. As I walked away I took one last look into my king cows eyes, I swear I could see galaxies swimming in them. My king cow.
