The show must go on

How Jimin had kept up the act he didn't know. During the day they practiced and at night he lay in Jungkooks arms making the most of what he could get.
The day before the concert Jungkook had to go and get some alterations done to his outfit so Jimin stayed in the apartment.
He spent the time cleaning and packing up his clothes ready to leave. He felt the same sense of loneliness he had when they had all departed for the military and he knew he couldn't see his crush, only now he knew he'd miss him more than ever.
The doorbell rang and Jimin answered it. A young woman stood there dressed to kill and looking Jimin up and down.
"Oh, your Erm Jimin aren't you? Why are you here?"
"Excuse me? Who are you?"
"I'm Jungkooks girlfriend let me in."
"I'm sorry but Jungkook doesn't have a girlfriend so I can't let you in."
"Listen you, it's true we fell out but, damn why am I explaining to you go get him!"
"He's not here, your an ex and I'm not letting you in"
"I have more right than you to be here!"
"Do you?" Jimin smirked.
The angry women seethed," you'll regret this!!"
"Bye," said Jimin as he shut the door in her face.
For some reason it gave him immense pleasure doing it then he realised he would probably have to tell Jungkook she had come.
Sighing he carried on cleaning then prepared some food. He'd nearly finished cooking when Jungkook returned.
"Hey Jimin miss me?"
Jimin smiled nodding slightly.
"Erm you had a visitor, she was an ex? She got mad when I wouldn't let her in as I didn't know her."
Jungkook looked guilty," ah sorry, she's a pain, doesn't like to hear the word no."
Jimin just nodded then dished up the food. Jungkook kept glancing at him worriedly.
"Oh you've been busy cleaning thanks!"
"Well you let me stay here for free so thanks to you,"
"You can stay as long as you want,"
"Oh it's ok this will be my last night here, as the concert is in the afternoon I'll leave after it, I'm packed already so will take my case with me tomorrow ,"
"What? But....."
"But what Kookie?" Jimin silently wished for him to say don't leave me I love you but of course he didn't .
"I guess that makes sense," Jungkook murmured.
That night the pair made love hungrily knowing it to be their last night, finally exhausted they fell asleep but for the first time in a long time Jimin had a nightmare crying out in pain in his sleep. Jungkook soothed him worried as this hadn't happened in a while.
The next morning both felt groggy but knew they had to prepare, jungkook suddenly got a call from RM.
"Kook...., turn on the news!"
"What?"
"Just do it call me back,"
Jungkook switched the small tv on in the kitchen and they both watched.
And today when it should be about the charity concert the group are doing it all seems to be about Park Jimin.
A source close to Jeon Jungkook said of her fears after she learned Park Jimin was staying with him. She said she had been told by a military figure of how Park Jimin had shown he was a homosexual to a fellow soldier and she did not want Jungkook to be tarnished with the same brush. Now this news outlet has confirmed from other sources that Park Jimin did indeed admit he was gay so this story seems to have some truth in it.
As we know homosexuality is not recognised here even if it is in the western world so where does park Jimin go from here.
"That fucking bitch, sorry Jimin I have to call her."
Jimin just sat quietly a loud buzzing in his ears and a voice in his head, run do what you always do run!
Jungkook meanwhile had rung his ex.
"Ah Jungkook, ringing to apologise?"
"It was you wasn't it who rang the news station?"
"Jungkook he could ruin your reputation if it ever got out later, you need to confront him now he's been staying with you under false pretences,"
"Has he?"
"Well of course, he's pretending to be straight when he's gay?"
"I knew he was gay!"
"But..., we'll how could you let someone like him stay!"
"Because I support LBBTQ fully and I'm Bi ,"
"No your not,"
"I am and I like being with Jimin and I mean, BEING with him!"
"No you can't what about us..."
"Us was a fling, Jimin means more to me than you ever did you bitch!" He disconnected the call and went to find Jimin.
"Jimin what....."
"We better get going lots to do don't want to disappoint anyone right?" Jimin finished cleaning up and went to the bedroom his face blank as he looked around for his last few bits before packing them and pulling his case to the front door. He sat on a sofa his face calm...., too calm.
Jungkook frowned then realised his phone was buzzing," yes?"
"You didn't call me back how's Jimin is he panicking does he want us to put out a notification?"
"He's ....., well calm, he hasn't said a word about it!"
"Shit is that good or bad?"
"I don't know but he's already to go,"
"Ok we will meet you there,"
"Ok,"
Security called to say the car was ready so they left the apartment.
Once at the venue Jimin was aware of people staring so kept his head down. He ignored the media and went into where they would get ready not saying a word to anyone.
"Did you see all that media out there?" Jin said." How's he holding up?"
They all turned to Jimin who just looked blank.
"Fuck this "Tae said walking out.
They all thought Tae had gone to cool off instead he went to waiting media.
"Taehyung what do you think of Jimins behaviour in the army?"
"Jimins behaviour was exemplary until I ruined it. The rumours you heard aren't the truth. Jimin worked hard he always kept an eye on me. I found army life hard and drank to deal with it, one night Jimin was trying to help me back inside as I was drunk, a commander found us and I said something that ruined Jimin, I said he was gay and had tried to force me. I have no excuses for my lies but can only apologise again and again to Jimin who never got a days peace after that. Please leave him alone."
He walked back inside only to be grabbed by Jimin." Why did you say that, now they will have a go at you I don't want you to get hurt like I did!"
"Jimin im sick of the lies, nice Tae, friendly Tae, I was a bastard and I'm owning it and whatever comes with it !"
"Well done Tae, we are proud of you," Suga said as the others came forward to encompass the two in a hug.
Jinin didn't know what to say, he'd still been outed but he didn't care about that.
" come on guys, we need to do sound checks then get some lunch then get ready.
The day wore on and it got closer to the time to perform.
"Guys I just want to say it's been an honour to work with you again and I'm honestly going to miss it," Rm said sincerely.
The runner told them five minutes and they all took their places, the music started and screams and cheers were heard as the group rose up to the stage bursting into song.
Applause was deafening and when it had quietened RM stepped forward." Hi I'm RM and I have to say..... Great to see you all. Despite news reports trying to overshadow this charity show I hope you will support us as we give you the best of us.
One by one they stepped forward.
It came to Suga who looked at Hobi who nodded and stepped forward also.
"Hi I'm Suga and this ..., is my husband Hobi"
Screams and cheers rang out deafeningly . " we hope you will support us here tonight and always, live doesn't have a gender label so let people live as they wish."
Applause sounded as they stepped back, it was Jimins turn next.
"H-hi everyone well it seems I've made the news, not for the right reasons but hey when has the news been totally correct?" Laughter sounded, "although parts were wrong some is right, I am gay and I'm not ashamed to be, one day I hope our society will accept this."
Cheers of Jimin,Jimin rang out, he bowed and retook his place. The rest said their bit and they carried on with the show.
Jimins song was just before the last song and he sang it proudly, his voice bringing the audience to tears as he sang the melody.
The audience screamed loudly the chants of Jimin going around!!
It came to the last song everyone got emotional as they sang.
Finishing to rapturous applause they bowed and walked off stage, chants for encore encore came and in the middle of the confusion of if they should or not Jungkook became aware that Jimin wasn't there.
Hunting around he got worried," where's Jimin?"
RM suddenly stepped forward," this was on my table"
Well guys, I hate goodbyes and I mean I really hate them. You all have made me feel better than in a long time. I hope your lives are fulfilled and you have someone special in your lives going forward.
Kookie I'm sorry I can't say goodbye properly but thank you for being there.

"Jungkook he's gone he obviously arranged it"

"Damn I really thought you two would finally sort yourselves out," Suga said.
"What?"
"You dumbass who do you think Jimins song was about!....you!! He's always loved you."
Jungkook froze, was that true?oh god Jimin don't leave me, I love you too.
