Shigaraki didn't like people. He didn't like them full stop. He tolerated the league, and liked Kurogiri and All For One, if he didn't kill you immediately then you had to have temporary importance, but after that, he'd kill you on the spot.

So why I was up on the roof with him, on a couple of blankets with take-out ramen and Sushi was beyond me. But I wasn't complaining, it was nice to have some sort of normalcy in this fucked up society. Plus it was cozy.

"Hey! Are you listening to me?"

 He asked, slightly annoyed, I smile at him "Of course I am. What made you think I wasn't?"

 I replied, picking up some bamboo shoot from my bowl "You looked dazed, like you were thinking about something else"

 He replied, sounding a little insulted

 "You were talking about why the XYX combo was better then the YYX in fight sequences" I told him coolly, proving I had been listening to him to some degree

 "... Fine. I'll take it" He grumbled, eating his sushi

"Honestly, sometimes it's like you don't trust me" I said in a joking manner, but he pauses and looks at the ground silently "Really?"

 I asked, my tone quieter than I wanted it to be "You... Don't trust me?" Shigaraki wasn't exactly the most trusting person in the world but I'd thought he'd come to trust us at least.

 "It's not like that," He began "It's just... I... It's hard to explain"

 He grumbled, glaring at the sushi roll in his fingers "Fine. It's fine" I said, trying to play it off, he eyed me disbelievingly "You don't have to explain. I get it" I tried to dismiss my slight hurt at this fact by eating some more of my ramen "I have this friend" I paused for a second and looked at him, he was rubbing his palms with his hands, I'd say nervously if I didn't know him, he didn't have friends, the League barely counted as friends for him.

"okay" I said, Acknowledging his words "And this friend had a family. His mom and sister were good, they were all good but his father"

 He began, looking to me to check if I was listening "His father hated him, always hurting him and treating him like nothing more than shit on his shoe. But he still loved him, trusted him even though that trust was misplaced" He gulped.
