Prologue: Dynamite 3/9/22

AEW Dynamite: 15 minutes before

Jeff P.O.V: Tonight I will write another chapter in my career, I will be reunited with my brother after three years and I can say that I feel alive again.  My last days at wwe were difficult, after the survivor series, I started to feel like a ghost there and so I asked for my release, of course things couldn't be that easy for me and then a lot of fake news about the my last incident, when actually I just walked out into the crowd and decided that was the end of it for me, I didn't want to stay in WWE anymore and so I did it my way.

I will miss hearing my theme song no more words but I know it will be better this way, I also know that some fans won't side with me in this decision but I hope that someday they will understand.  Well, I'm in the dressing room watching the show and I've even met some friends here, people who went through the same situation as me...okay, not exactly the same, but who also felt like ghosts.

I heard two knocks on the door and then Matt walked in

M: - So, ready for your debut?

J: - Yes

M: - What happened?

J: - Umm...nothing, I was just thinking about some things.

M: - Thinking about your divorce again?

J: - Although I still feel something small for Beth, no, I was thinking about other things.

M: - What are you thinking about?

J: - The changes that have happened since December, you know, my release from WWE and the whole thing around that.  I got a lot of positive messages on twitter, I will miss those guys

M: - Really?

J: - Yes, Priest and I are like that now (I said crossing my fingers, and laughing a little). But I was also thinking about the changes that have taken place these last few months, you know, wwe will always be our home but...it was hard to stay in that place and see so many good ideas being dropped every week.

M: - Now you know how Windham and I felt

J: - When I went to SmackDown I thought I could do something big there, something new and maybe have fun doing it but it didn't happen.  (Sigh) I just wanted the fans to see things the way I do.

M: - Maybe one day they will understand why you made that decision and they will stop believing in rumours, and they will also see the truth behind things.  Now it's time to leave the past behind and look to your future, time to write a new chapter in our story, your first chapter in AEW.  Come on, we're next.

J: - Let's go.

Matt and I walked out of the locker room, walked up to the entrance and I saw Tony Khan watching the show behind the scenes, I don't think I've ever seen that in WWE, the boss really interested in what his superstars are doing and deeply supportive.  I feel like I can now talk to my boss without him yelling in my face "You're fired!".

So Matt made his entrance and started the segment along with the other members of the Hardy family office while I waited behind the curtain, then an employee came up to me and said he wanted to record a clip for the aew YouTube channel about the show this year. night.  He counted three seconds and then started recording.

"Jeff, excited for your debut tonight?"

J: - Very excited.  This is a fresh start for me and I can't wait to step into the AEW ring and reunite with my brother one last time.  I can tell there's a lot of adrenaline coursing through my veins right now.

And after that it was my time to go there and do what I need to do, Matt is attacked by Andrade and after that my music played, not no more words but loaded, shaking the whole arena.  I dance down the ramp and run to the ring, attack them all, and save my brother, Darby Allin, and Sting as well.  Matt with a Twist of fate calls me for a swanton bomb, and so I did.

While Darby and Sting looked at us in surprise, Matt hugs me and thus officially begins the Hardys final run.
