Jeff is building his way to another company while Liv Morgan is building his way to becoming a top star. But what if these two very different paths and dreams collided?
Liv P.O.V: Tomorrow I will be at a live event facing Carmella, I need to rest, today's match left me exhausted. I just want to go back to my farm and watch some movies with my friends, but I can't be going back and forth all the time. Now I'm at the hotel making my reservation and getting my room key, when I'm going to the elevator, I see two people getting out of it, Matt and Jeff Hardy! Wow, it's been so long since I've seen Matt, and Jeff left WWE a few months ago...and I didn't even get to have one last conversation with him over there. Now is my chance.
Outside the hotel
M: - Was it a good idea to start a country tour?
J: - It's exhausting but for someone who grew up in WWE, I think we should be used to it by now.
I leave the hotel and see them putting their bags in the trunk, so I approach with hurried steps
L: - Matt, Jeff...hey...
They then turn and look at me.
M: - Gionna, hey how long?
J: - Hi!
Matt hugged me and then Jeff did the same.
L: - Wow, how long I haven't seen you. How are you ?
J: - We're fine.
M: - Yeah, even more so now that we're united again and we're starting a tour going to a lot of independent wrestling shows out there.
L: - I am very happy to see that you are united again, a pity that it is not in WWE. It was great having you there.
J: - Yeah, but maybe we'll go back there one last time? But right now we have other plans to make before thinking about that.
M: - Hey why don't you come watch us? We're going to be at an event at Big Time Wrestling, and we're having a meet & greet with some fans on Wednesday.
L: - I think that on Wednesday I'll be free, so... I think I'll watch you.
J: - You don't need a ticket, you will be our guest.
L: - Really? wow, thank you
J: - Now we need to go, but see you soon.
M: - Take care.
Both hugged me, and got in the car, leaving. I went back to the hotel reception, got my luggage and went to the elevator to go to my room.
On Saturday: Big Time Wrestling Show

Jeff's P.O.V: Matt and I are in the locker room getting ready for our match, we did a meet & greet with some fans on last wednesday and Liv came to see us, she said she would be at the show today. Finished my facepaint and recorded a short video to post on Instagram after the match, Matt came out of the bathroom combing his hair.
M: - Are you ready?
J: - Always
M: - Okay let's go, it's time
I took a deep breath and put my cell phone in my bag, got up and left with Matt from the locker room. We walked up to a black curtain, our music played and we made our entrance, greeting the many fans who screamed for us.
As we made our entrance, I saw Liv among the other fans and gave her a brief hug, then we entered the ring and finished our entrance.
15 minutes later
After a twist of fate and a swanton bomb we finished the match, we left the ring and took some photos with the fans, we greeted Liv again, she smiled and took a selfie with me and then Matt and I went back to the locker room.

M: - Damn, did you hear all those screams?
J: - Yeah...the crowd was wild, it was a good show.
M:-Liv actually came to watch us, she seems to be the only one in WWE who misses us.
J: - I don't think so, I received several messages from some people there when I was released.
M: - It's just that some think they will suffer some punishment if they talk or meet someone who is not from WWE. Good thing Liv kept the respect for us, I think I'll send her some custom Broken Matt Jordans. ( Laughter )
J: - Yeah, sounds like a good idea (laughs).
I look at my phone and then I get an Instagram message from Liv, thanking me for inviting her. I send a message back: " your presence tonight meant a lot to Matt and me, come see us more often when you can. " It doesn't take long and she replies: " you are my favorite tag team, you can be sure I will come see you guys again soon."
I give a slight smile and put my phone in my bag, and get up and head to the bathroom. Matt sits in the chair and takes off his boots, he looks past him and takes my arm
M: - Are you okay, brother?
J: - Yes, I'm just going to take a shower.
M: - Oh, right...
I walk into the bathroom and close the door, lean my back against it and look up thinking about the things that have happened to me these last few months. My divorce, my release from WWE, my AEW debut...maybe it's time to stop dwelling on the past, and start looking forward, and be ready to see what the future holds for me.
