"It was once claimed that one in every billion people would have a lucid dream which people described as an empty, dark space. Although it wasn't claimed to hurt, this dream was said to have an odd humming sound that seemed like static buzzing through your ears, mildly piercing the eardrum. It was said there to be an old wooden door with cracks, but no holes, still glossy, and a color that was a mix of brown and green from the aging mold that had started to form. On the door was a clay sign that stood out against the rest of the door because it appeared to have received much less attention than the rest of the door. There were also reports of voices or entities drawing said person closer to the door. People who have been in this dream have said that this sign had a text on it that read 'if one wishes to leave this place, they must simply sleep'." I said with pride.

Corey was still unconvinced with what I had just explained to him. He looks off to the side, frowning.

"Okay, look, I believe you, just, how would we know if it was for sure the truth and not a made-up myth?" Corey says, deep in thought. I took a second to look around my living room, there was a black leather couch, split into 2 to spread across the room. Above the buffet unit was the TV, it wasn't too big but it was ideal, the walls were painted a dark grey finish, a feature wall behind both the couches. It wasn't much, just a flower imprinted background with a couple of family photos up on the wall.

"If this story is true, and one of us goes there, you promise me to share what's behind that door?" Corey says, look at me intently.

I pause.

"I will make sure I tell you every detail" I respond, looking back into his eyes.

"Also stop looking at me like that, it's like your daydreaming" He snaps. I jump and quickly look away, 'rude' I say to myself before getting up off the leather couch, and walking out of the room. "I'll be back, I-" I pause to clear my clogged throat "I need to go rest, I won't be long" I say before leaving him sitting there. As I walk down the lightly dim hallway, I turn around, making sure he isn't following me. I quickly made my way to my door and opened it, inside was another dark Grey room with a bed, table, and a closet. I walk over to the bed before lifting the covers, climbing inside. As soon as I got in, my eyelids became. heavy, and in the blink of an eye, I drifted off to sleep.

I startle awake and rub my eyes so I can see. I scan the area. Nothing. A chilly breeze was the only thing that I had to acompany me within this abyss. To my surprise, I noticed a brown rectangle standing straight up in front of me, a few meters away, not to mention that the breeze now feels like it was coming from that very spot.

I began to worry since I had no idea what the hell had just happened. I ask myself, "Am I dead?" as terror grips me at the same time, clinging on more and more. I began to notice strange sounds, the sound of my movements covering the sound. I pause. suddenly that sound I was hearing became less and less muffled as I listened closely.

I click. I realized that these sounds were no longer muffled and they were whispers, quiet ones at that. It didn't take long for me to start hearing sentences form, the whispers were saying stuff like "Come closer," "Go straight ahead," and I obeyed, walking towards the brown rectangle that now appeared to be a door and gazing carefully at it.

I wait to catch my breath before moving towards the door while observing the sign that is posted there.

Could this be the location we were just discussing with Corey? Could this be the dream you had been so worried about?

No, it's impossible, 7 people have already discovered this place and no reports have been made of other people discovering it after that.

I read the sign and comfort myself that this is not that dream.

I froze.

How is this possible, I ask myself. I look in terror as I realize, I have been selected. The eighth person to ever see this. After a moment of deep breaths, I realize that not only would I be able to figure out the secrets of this place, whatever it is, but I'll also be able to rub something in Corey's smug face. I look down at the doorknob, eager to open it.
As hesitant as I was, I managed to grip the doorknob and turn. As I pushed the somewhat heavy door open I begin to see a white light shining back, it's so bright that I squint my eyes a lot. The light is so bright that I start to feel dizzy and begin losing my balance. It didn't take very long before I ended up passing out directly on the ground.

I jolt awake to the sound of humming around me, trying to regain my eyesight.
"AGH!, IT'S AWAKE!" a voice shouts from behind me. I quickly turn around and notice a Purple wolf staring back at me in shock.
I froze.
"Uhh..." I pause "hi?"...
