We now see Y/n with Alfred in his carriage, heading towards the king's castle, as Y/n tries to get a grasp on the situation.
Y/n: So, you mentioned your brother, the king, was poisoned right? I'd like an honest answer, so I can help out as much as possible.
Alfred: Yes, that is what I've been told. However, the person who poisoned my brother could be one of our own nobles.
Y/n: Why do you believe that might be the case?
Alfred: Some of our nobles oppose trade with the kingdom of Mismede.
Y/n: Can you give me some details about Mismede?
Alfred: It's a newly founded kingdom, and the king is a beastman. And my brother has been recently considering making an alliance with them.
Y/n: I see... I'm starting to think the culprit is one of your nobles with the current information available to me.
Alfred: Can you tell me why you think that?
Y/n: Simple. Does your brother have a child?
Alfred: He does. Her name is Yumina.
Y/n: I can already see why they would do this. Poison the king, and with the princess's naivety, they can manipulate her into possibly declaring war on the kingdom of Mismede, if they have a distain for beastmen.
Alfred: *gasps* Are you sure they would go that far to do that?!
Y/n: I can't say that is 100% their motive. But what I can do is user Recovery on your brother. That way, the assassin's plan is not only foiled, but we can slowly and surely uncover the possible mastermind behind this crime against the king. You've done a lot of things for me after I saved your daughter, Alfred. It's time I returned that favor today.

We now see Alfred and Y/n arriving at the castle, and as they enter, they're met with a man who Y/n already hates, despite just meeting him.
