"honey! Lunch is ready!!!"

"coming!!" i closed my science book as my mom called me from downstairs. I wore my slippers as i rushed to the kitchen just to see my mom in her office suit.

"are you going to work?" i asked her as i sat in my chair. "yes honey, i have to meet a client today" she stated as i nodded at her.

"but it's Sunday today" i said making her chuckle. "oh dearie, mommy has to meet a client in the weekends and also, i might be hired as a lawyer of a very big company" she said making my eyes widen.

"really?" i asked her, yes my mom is a lawyer. She chuckled as she  patted my head and placed my meal in front of me. "now be good girl, dig up" she said as she removed her apron.

Both of us started to eat the food in our plates as we took our time finishing them up. As soon as we're done, i took the dishes and placed them in the sink to wash them.

"honey I'll be going, take care of yourself... Bye!" my mom bid her goodbyes at me "yup! You too!" i replied.

I continued to wash the dishes in the sink and soon after I'm done, i decided to finish my study session upstairs.

KRIIIIIIING!!!

my alarm clock sounded giving me a sign that my study session is done. I sighed as i stretched my arms in the air and closed my books. I neatly placed them in my bag as i decided to go to the library to find a book to read.

I was just wearing my sweater and my sweatpants and i decided to wear my shoes on the way there.

I closed the door of our house as i began to walk to the library.

Walking alone in the streets of Seoul, pedestrians were peacefully crossing in the pedestrian lane. I stopped my tracks as i arrived in the library.

I opened the door as the cold air of the air conditioner hits my face. Waaah, this is so relaxing.

I went inside and walked towards the Sci-fi section. In the middle of choosing, a book caught my aye as i tried to reach it. I tip toed trying to bring the book in my grasp.

But then,

"oh thank you" i looked over to the Person who took the book, it was a girl. She has long hair and spectacles, and by the looks of it. She is tall.

"what do you mean thank you?" she raised her brow at me looking at the book she was holding. "wait- aren't you gonna give that book to me?" i asked.

"ha! You wish" she stated making me annoyed "but, but i saw that first!" i argued as i tried to steal it from her grasp. "but i got it first" she said dodging my hands.

"uuugggghhh!" i rolled my eyes as i turned myself to go in a different direction. "that stupid girl, why the hell is she so cocky" i complained as i took another book with the same category.

I furiously went to the counter and placed my chosen book in the counter desk. "I'll borrow this book please" i stated as the sounter lady nodded.

"may i ask your name ma'am?" she asked. "Son Chaeyoung" i stated as she wrote my name in the book and the title of the book i borrowed.

She nodded at me giving me a sign that i can leave already. I took the book with me as i stomped out of the library.

I sighed as i thaught of the girl i met earlier, gosh she's so annoying. Thinking about her makes me feel so frustrated.

It's okay, im probably never gonna see her again.

I sighed as i began to move my feet. I went back home safely.

Closing the door, i flopped in our couch and sighed. "tomorrow I'll be waking up early in the morning to get ready for school" i stated staring in the blank air.

i stood up as i watched the time in my wrist watch, "I'll probably sleep for an hour"

I stood up as i went to my bedroom to take my afternoon Beauty sleep.

KRIIIIIIING!!!

I woke up as i heard my alarm clock ringing, i groaned as i tried to get myslef to stand up. Stretching my legs and arms, i stood up rubbing my eyes as i went to open my bedroom door.

My feet was bringing me to the kitchen where the sweet aroma dominated my nose.

I went to see my mom already in her home clothes wearing apron. Haha why do i always see her like this.

"what are you cooking mom?" i asked her.

"oh you're awake, take a seat. Dinner will be ready soon" she stated as i obeyed her. She took each of our plates as she placed our meals.

"wow! That looks so delicious mom!!!" i exclaimed as i dig up the meal she prepared for me.

"aww thank you" she awwed and chuckled after seeing me stuff the chicken curry in my mouth.

We both ate together and brushed our teeth after.

We watched TV for the rest of the day and bid each other goodnight when it's already time to sleep.

Time flied so fast and it's already Monday, which means i need to go to school.

I went downstairs wearing my uniform as i saw my mom already sitting in our kitchen table.

"good morning honey, here eat up. I cooked you some eggs and bacons" she stated as she told me to take a seat. "good morning mom" i greeted her back as i ate my breakfast.

"be careful, you might stain your uniform" she stated as i nodded, continuing to eat my breakfast.

After we ate our breakfast we both brushed our teeth together, and went to our car. My mom always deliver me to school every morning to ensure my safety.

But i will be walking alone when it's time to go home cause she will be working until seven in the evening.

"do good in school yeah?"

"yup! I will!" i said as i went out of the vehicle. "i love you" she said those words as i replied with an "i love you too" peeping my head in the car window from outside.

I took my way inside the school gates as i directly went to my classroom.

I sat in my chair as i looked at my wristwatch, there is still an hour left for me to review our lessons last Friday.

I took my books as i started to read our lessons from each Subject.

I have always been the top student since i was in primary school, a lot of students and parents adored and envy me for having perfect grades.

My mom use to say "plant the seeds with effort and you will be happy to harvest it one day"

I took it as a life qoute making me mentain my grades.

My mom doesn't really care about me grades, she ensures my physical and mental health first before anything else.

"okay class settle down now" our homeroom teacher came inside as she placed her books in the teacher's table in front of us.

I looked at my wristwatch as i got confused, it's not yet eight A. M.

We must be starting earlier than usual.

"from now on, we will be having a new student in class" she stated as she looked in the doorstep making us follow her gaze.

A young woman came inside as my eyes widen from familiarity. She's the girl who took my book in the library yesterday!

"please introduce yourself" our teacher said "Good Morning everyone, my name is Myoui Mina. Eighteen years old. I will be joining your class from now on, please take care of me"
