Our afternoon period has finished and it's time for the students to go home already.

I packed my things as i stood up and made my way out of our classroom.

I stopped my tracks as i saw Mina still in her desk. "aren't you gonna go home?" i asked her. I turned around to see her sleeping figure. She looks like.....

An angel.

Wait what am i doing, I'm suppose to hate her!

I suddenly remembered what happened earlier in our physics class. Both of us got the perfect score in our test.

Im not being selfish but i do admit it, i don't want to lose the title 'the smartest girl in school'

Both of us took turns in answering the questions earlier causing us to have a perfect score.

To be honest this girl looks so dumb, and lazy.

She always sleep in class but also get perfect scores during exams. A part of me made me wanna know her more.

And i don't think i can be friends with someone like her. I would consider her as my rival.

Remembering all those, i sighed as i stood up to continue my way out of the school. I walked through the streets of Seoul minding my own business as i was so focus of going home.

Thirty minutes of walking and i have arrived in my house. I immediately went inside and flopped myself in the couch.

Today was such a bomb.

From a transferee student, to a rival.

Mina really does make my brain twirl.

I stood up as i went to my badroom to change my clothes. After that, i did my homework and studied the lesson were expecting to have tomorrow.

KRIIIIIIING!!!

My alarm clock rang as i stood up stretching my arms. I made my way to the kitchen to cook something for myself and my mom cause she will be arriving soon.

I took some ingredients in the refrigerator and started to do the magics of chefs.

"honey I'm home!" my mom greeted as i replied with a "welcome home mom, i made dinner" i told her as she gave me a peck at my forehead.

"how's school my dear?" she asked.

"oh it's fine, i had a rival" i told her while i stirred the meal i cooked. "a rival? Not a friend? But a rival?" she asked, again.

"yup, she always catches up with me during class" i replied to her as she sighed in relief. "i thaught you gained a rival, like you know... Beat yourselves up haha you know what I mean"

"nope, you can say it's an academic rival" i answered her statement as i placed our dinner in each of our plate. "oh"

"but don't get too pushed okay?" she told me and dug into the meal i prepared for the both of us.

"don't worry mom, i won't"

After eating dinner, i went upstairs to waste time by watching Netflix in my laptop.

Hours later, i glanced at my wrist watch, seven P.M.

Welp! I guess it's time to sleep, good night~

Time had flied so fast that i didn't knew its already been a month since Mina transferred to our school, and most importantly she's in my class.

Both of us have been competing over small things such as... Who will finish our lunch first, who will submit our work first, and most ofa all.... Who will have the highest score in every quiz.
