Kira huffed as he dragged the woman with him through the forest. Cricket noises could be heard from behind him. His shoes being dirtied by the fallen leaves, insects and mud on the ground. He locked his room and left through the window with her, so he had no worries about being caught. Bringing a shovel with him and a lighter. Carrying the dead body on his back and the shovel in one of his hands. It was on the first floor so he wasn't too worried about escaping quickly either. When he got deep enough in the forest he put her down. Wiping the beads of sweat that had started to form on his forehead. He kicked her corpse to the side, allowing him free space to dig. He pushed the shovel into the dirt. It wasn't very firm land so it would be easy to dig up. After digging what looked like a big enough hole for the body, he pushed her in. He shuffled in his pocket until he found the lighter, quickly bending down and igniting her shirt. He watched the flame expand over her clothing, and soon enough she had been set on fire. Flashing a smile before covering her burning body. It was just to make sure she was unrecognisable, and any family or friends would never know what happened. A mangled body of a woman found in the woods, It would be labelled a suicide if he was lucky. The cops were garbage at doing their job anyways. He'd laugh at the thought if he wasn't so busy. He allowed himself a breathy snicker before continuing. He pushed his hair back and stood in front of the scene for a bit until he decided to throw some moss or grass on the pile. Just to put out the fire. It would be bothersome to start a forest fire just for a murder. He walked back pushing the lighter in his front pocket. A satisfactory grin plastered on his face. Once he got to the back of the hotel building he climbed back through the window. His new to be "girlfriend" still knocked out unconscious on the couch. He decided to get to work as soon as possible. Bringing over his suitcase and setting it on the table. With a swift click he popped it open. Rummaging in it until he found the display of knives scissors and other medical equipment. He got to work right away.

He had gotten rid of her. At least anything he didn't need. He kept her hand, pristinely persevered and cautiously severed from her body with the array of blades and tools he had at his disposal. He was exceptionally precise. Making sure not to leave indents bruises or cuts in the skin, and soon enough he was sitting calmly on the sofa with his new partner on his lap. It was just a moment of comfortable silence. Well, as comfortable as it could be for him. Until Kira decided he had to leave. " What should I call you huh? " he hid her in the inside pocket of his jacket as he stood up. " I never really got your name you know. " Kira spoke to the hand as if there was another human being in the room. " Oh don't be like that. " he frowned, seemingly talking to a non existent replier. " You know I didn't have time for that, besides any name will do. " He sighed and went to the kitchen. His previously worn clothes folded neatly on the counter. His face curled into an annoyed expression, deep in thought he let his hands rest on the cold marble. He knew he couldn't stay here any longer. Two women killed in one night, it didn't look good for him at all. If there were any witnesses or suspicions about him it was game over. He had to get going. Immediately.
He opened his baggage and threw his belongings along with his new girlfriend in it. Washed away the key of any evidence like fingerprints or blood and put on some gloves. He dusted himself off a final time before going out again. A slightly trembling and gloved hand reached out for the door. A swift click to unlock it. He gingerly took out the key and held it in his hand tightly. He opened the door and went to leave the key at the desk. No one would know what happened. It'll be a mystery, one that only he would know. He took out his phone. The clock read 23:52, it was almost midnight. He sighed and fiddled with his gps. He'd have to go to Moriya next. He groaned at the thought. He'd be stuck there for a while since the trains were having difficulties but you could still travel with them. Plus most of the 4 hour journey would be resting at hotels or something. He decided to get to Moriya and then take a nap there. Go to another hotel, maybe even stay a bit longer. Whatever, he just wanted to get this done with. He had been starting to feel homesick. He walked out of the hotel being met with an unpleasant dark sky. It wasn't very busy on the road which was bad. Very bad. He was going to get a taxi to Moriya, or was at least planning to. But now he was doubting his choices. Should he stay in the hotel until morning? No, too risky. Someone will notice. Should he... go to another hotel? No, he had to get out of this city as soon as possible. He took off his gloves and looked around the street. Stuffing the light blue medical gloves in his pocket. Dim yellow lights with few cars on the usually busy lane. It was surprisingly peaceful at night. No flashy lights or loud talking. Just him in front of the hotel. It was nice to be somewhere quiet for a change. Most of the time he was around noisy and obnoxious people. At his workplace, at the train. Hell, even when he was in the comfort of his own home he'd hear the screaming of children or teens playing outside. He gently smiled to himself and took a long inhale. Closing his eyes as he sighed. It was late and he should've been in bed by now. But something about the deserted streets was entrancing him. He stood there until something surprised him. A tiny wet drop landed on his shoulder, turning the lavender jacket purple where it fell. He stared at it confused, until the realisation hit him.
It was about to rain.
He broke out in nearly a sprint towards the nearest bus station to hide from the rain. He felt the water coming down as he quickly ran through the empty streets. He didn't really know where the nearest bus station was so he just made a run for it and hoped for the best.
Kira panted as he reached the first bus stop. He wasn't completely drenched but still wet. That slightly hurt his pride and ego but it was nothing. He sat down on the wooden bench and tried to formulate a plan. He crossed one of his legs over the other and held his suitcase on his lap. He was tired and couldn't think properly. He checked his phone for the time, 23:59. It was just about to be midnight. He decided to just wait until the rain stopped. Putting his phone away in his suitcase for safety he exhaled worriedly. He sat and waited. And soon enough he couldn't keep his eyes open. The sound of the water droplets hitting the plastic and metal above him, it was enough to slowly make him more exhausted by the second. Kira knew it was irresponsible to sleep on a public bench but if it was just for ten minutes it would be alright. He uncrossed his legs and sank a bit further into the seat, throwing off his perfect posture slightly. His eyelids getting heavier by each passing minute until he finally let go and fell asleep.

Kira shook awake when some disgusting flashing lights hurt his eyes through his sleep. He rubbed his eyes and slowly examined where the flashing came from, Some kind of vehicle, maybe a firefighter truck or a police car. He was about to go back to sleep when he realised where he was. He got up instantly and checked the time, 00:20. Some disgruntled noises and a frown later he stood up, a bit wobbly and unbalanced he held onto the pole next to him. After he got ahold of himself he started walking. He directly followed a street, looking back to his phone from time to time to see if he was going the right direction. It was about time he got out of there. The rain stopped a while ago he guessed. He walked and looked at back at his phone from time to time. Making sure he followed the right path. He was going to some kind of tourist destination in the city he was in. He was almost completely sure there would be a Taxi there.
Kira stopped after he got there. Looking around at the various closed shops and cars parked next to them. It looked so busy yet so empty. He swallowed thickly. A trail of nervous sweat making its way down from his jawline to his neck. Kira was about to give up on getting a Taxi when suddenly the loud brakes of a car stopped next to him. He turned around and... A Taxi! " Hey, you look lost and I really wanna get some more money before tomorrow. So, you going anywhere? " A young looking man was sat in the bright yellow car. Kira didn't know what to say. Lady luck was really on his side tonight. He smiled at the thought before clearing his throat. He coughed and started to speak. " Yes, I am a little lost. Would you mind bringing me to Moriya? Or anywhere near that is fine. " Kira asked bending down slightly. The car was a shorter model and it made Kira feel a bit taller. He was an average height. Maybe even a bit taller than most of the people in his hometown. Sometimes though he would come across someone taller than him and it made him feel shy. He didn't like feeling smaller, he was used to being the tallest or one of the taller ones in his work environment. The man in the taxi thought. " Sure, get in. " Kira grinned to himself as he went over the door to open it, once he sat down he... felt small. He knew the car was shorter so it made him shorter too, obviously. He looked over to the driver who was messily starting the car and noticed that the driver looked taller than him. He silently took another hit to his pride and nervously went red out of embarrassment. He sighed and tried to get comfortable to take a nap again. Holding his suitcase next to him securely. He nestled his head into the car seat and fell asleep soundly.
