There was once a prosperous continent that held wonders and strength amongst it's people. While the world was still young and striving, this ancient civilization already possessed knowledge and authority.

But all of this was still governed by beliefs and superstitions that kept them all together. They believed that all things on this world are in the will of Celestia, a god of sorts that held control over the world. They also believed that mortals or special individuals that received a 'vision', which grants them control over the elements, are blessed and favored by the gods.

Though some people that settled there were no ordinary individuals either, some possessed bizarre or scary features, some can shape shift into different forms at will, and some that are just adorable to look at, however don't let it deceive you. They may look good on the outside, but they can really be dangerous if you don't get too cautious.

The ones that stand out at the eyes of the gods were the people who possessed great power depending on the element they governed, and then they became the great rulers who ruled their own favored lands.

And so, the continent divided itself to eight nations; Monsdat, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Nathlan, Snezhnaya, and finally  the ruling nation of Kaenri'ah.

Each nation has its different culture, strengths, and ways of ruling. But all is certain that they held their own 'archon', the powerful beings that has control of their corresponding nation, dearly. And in return, they gave blessings and protection to them.

The ruling of the archons was a great age among these people, they lived in prosperity, peace and joy.

But all things must end-

In unknown circumstances, the whole continent shambled to dust. Shattering it's masses and some sank to the bottom of the ocean, only leaving little pieces of the once glorious land.

Although some may survived it's fall, they only held grief and agony as they succumb their fate.
