i had been at the mercenare hideout for about an hour now

me: yeah i got them together

suddenly ira teleported in

me: oh time for me to go home bye bye
i teleported home and got and started watching youtube for an hour when i heard a knock at the door
i go and answer the door where i see maya
maya: hello new neighbour i made some food to welcome you to the neighbourhood-
she saw me and went silent
her: e-eh screen?
i smile
me: hi maya~
maya: m-may i come inside your h-house?
me: sure
we sit at the table and she looks around
she see's that there isn't much here she looks in the lounge room and sees there is a big tv and 6 bean bags
she then looks in the kitchen and sees theres only the normal things you would have in a kitchen oven, microwave, air fryer, etc
me: so uh thanks for the food
maya: no problem
she was about to leave when
me: w-wait d-did you want to eat with me i-i mean you brought a lot and all
maya smiled
maya: sure
we both started to eat when my eyes glew up
me: this is amazing
she blushed faintly
maya: thanks
after a while we finished but it started to storm extremely badly and then
BOOM, CRACKLE
maya: EEP
the power went out everywhere and she jumped
maya: the weather m-man said t-tonight would be c-clear
me: hm there's no need to worry i can teleport you hom-
maya: NO!
i look at her kind of shocked
maya: i-im sorry for yelling b-but my parents aren't home tonight and it's terrifying outside i'm sc-scared to be on my own
me: tsk i-i guess you can sleep over b-but i only have one bed so be warned
maya blushed but nodded
i got her some female pj's with any pocket and i got her a towel
me: here i have a back up generator for the whole bathroom for some reason so you can take a shower

after she shower's and i have one then i get into my pj's after that i take my night medicine and we go to bed on separate sides
maya just stares at the clock for an hour it was still cold under the blanket for her
maya: screen a-are you still awake
me: yeah
she turns to see me on my phone
maya: it's cold and s-scary
me: hm okay give me a sec
i go and get another blanket and put it over her
me: does this help?
maya: yeah a bit thanks
me: well i better get to sleep now okay
maya: okay
i get into bed and eventually fall asleep
maya: i better go to sleep as well-
she then heard me shivering it was an extremely cold night
she thought a bit before blushing and coming closer to me with her extra blanket
she put the blanked on both of us before hugging me
i woke up half asleep and turned around hugging her back
she blushed but smiled as we fell asleep in each other's embrace
the next day
i had woken up and it was 5am
me: what the hell i usually wake up at 11pm-1am
i finally notice whats going on
me: e-eh m-maya
maya grunted
i look at her and pat her head receiving a sleepy smile
i carefully get out of bed not waking her up and go to the kitchen where i make pancake batter, then i start making pancakes (heheh my speciality)
maya had suddenly woken up seeing i wasn't next to her and blushing
maya: d-did i really do that last night
she started to smell something really tasty
maya: that smells good
she walked out into the kitchen and saw me making pancakes
maya: s-screen?
me: oh morning
maya: good morning are you making pancakes?
me: yeah i like making them
she sat down at the table as i brought her a plateful and some maple syrupp
me: please enjoy
maya: th-thank you!
she drooled at the sight of them
i giggled a bit before making myself some with the rest of the batter
today was going to be a good one
