"Surprise!" Jerome cried, leaping out from behind the door and scaring Mia to death and it wasn't long before Alfie followed him into the living room and they both sat down next to Mia on either side of her.
"That's the 3rd time today that you've scared me, I swear you're going to kill me one day," Mia said laughing it off.
Stomping was heard from the next room,along with shouting and muttering ti her self , which as they all knew was patricia. This was another rant about joy and probably wouldn't be the last. " I can't believe that creep won't let me phone joys home number," she said plopping down on the sofa and crossing her arms, " I suppose though that she will be getting her stuff back tomorrow though so she's got that going for her," Patricia said.
" that good," Mara stated, "you'll be able to ring her then." Which soon grabbed the attention of Jerome and his newfound attitude. " you'll be able to ring her then," he mocked earning a nudge from Mia and a glare from Mara. "Jerome,come on, this is serious," Patricia said becoming more upset.

Mia was staying with Mara and Amber in there room tonight as Patricia wanted to be alone.
Mia was busy texting Jerome on her phone and talking about some prank they were going to do on Alfie, when mick walked into the room. " mick, I've only got one eye on!" Amber stated. " it's sweet that you've come to see me." "Actually, I'm here for Mara," he said earning a disappointed look from Amber " since your the biology babe,I was wondering if you could help me study tomorrow?" Mick asked. Biology babe. That's pushing it. Mia wasn't really listening to what was going on around her and bursted out laughing, and getting a stare from everyone in the room. " sorry it's Jerome, he said something that made me laugh," Mia said saving herself. Everything went extremely quiet once mick left. After Amber had firmly believed that there was nothing going on between Mara and mick she changed the subject to Jerome and Mia. "So what's going on with you and Jerome?" Amber said getting excited.
"Amber, we've already gone over this, he doesn't see me that way," Mia replied, getting a scoff from Mara and Amber. "Mia, have you seen the way he looks at you, the boys totally in love with you!" Amber screamed. "Love, is a bit of a strong word, Amber, isn't it?"
"Actually, it's definitely the right word, are you ever going to tell him?" Mara asked. "What tell him that I've been head over heels for him since last year? No," Mia said. " besides we're just friends, I'll tell him when I feel like it," Mia said before going to bed.
" Mia, you have to stop denying it," Amber continued before a shrill voice interrupted her, " you have 5 minutes precisely then I want to hear a pin drop!" Victor shouted. Everything went silent. Until Alfie bolted past the girls and downstairs earning a disapproving look from Victor before saying " what, I still have 4 minutes left."
Until Patricia burst into the room earning a eye roll from Mia. "Mara,Amber,can you deal with this I'm too tired?" Mia asked going to sleep.

Mia woke up to an empty room, and when she checked the time on her phone, it said 7:30 am. She was late. With a sudden rush of panic, she realised had slept in a whole hour and rushed out of the bed straight to the bathroom, she didn't have time to shower and decided she would have one when she came home from school, she brushed her teeth,got dressed and headed downstairs for breakfast.
She entered the dining room, sitting down next to Jerome. "Someone's a bit late," Jerome remarked.
"Shut up, Mara and Amber why didn't you wake me up?" Mia asked. " We thought we should let you sleep in after what you told us last night," Mara responded.
Jerome who was very curious asked "What happened last night."
"Oh Mia said that you-," Amber stated before Mia interrupted. " Amber!" Mia shouted, " don't worry about it Jerome, it's not that big of a deal." After that the room went quiet for a bit before Trudy walked in and Patricia started conversation.
