A storm brews, wind blows and lightning crashes outside Bright Moon Castle.

Inside the castle; fire crackles in the hearth as all the princesses, Bow, and Flutterina sit around a table; Glimmer stands in front of the fire. Silver napping by the window.

Glimmer finally spoke, "I called you all here to discuss what happened today. The mission to retake Dryl was a complete disaster. We barely made it out." She angrily turned, "I wanna know why."

"The Horde knew we were coming, they were ready for us. How do they keep doing this? We thought they were tracking Adora, but she wasn't even there today!" Bow huffed.

Mermista drawled, "Isn't it obvious?" She stands and slams her hands down on table, "There's a Horde spy somewhere in Bright Moon." lightning crashes and Silver gets startled, "...And no one is going anywhere until we figure out who it is." lightning crashes and the feline's fur fluffed up a little.

"Mermista..." Glimmer chuckled nervously, "it's very unlikely that there's a spy--"
"We need to investigate. Obviously, I'll be the lead detective since I've read every single Mer-Mystery book."

Adora pipes up, "Mer-what?"

Mermista groaned angrily enthusiastic, "Mer-Mystery! It's only the best undersea novel series ever, there's, like, 18 of them, it taught me everything I need to know about solving mysteries. Murder mysteries!" Sea Hawk falls over, grunting in surprise and pain as she pops out of nowhere.

Perfuma nervously added, "Um...but no one's been murdered..."

"YET! " Frosta gasps at Mermista appearing suddenly next to Perfuma, Perfuma shouts in surprise but Mermista paid it no mind,  "First, we need to question the suspects."

"Who are the suspects?" Frosts asked.

Lightning crashes on the first word, "Everyone, " she whispers, "is a suspect."

Bow started sweating, "Everyone?" His voice cracking as he spoke, "Is anyone else sweating? I'm sweating!"

Glimmer sighed, "This is a waste of time. We know that the Horde is pulling their troops back to prepare for something big. That's what we should be investigating."

"No, Mermista's right. And, we know it can't be me the Horde's tracking since, Adora chuckles humorlessly, "once again, you used me as a distraction today." A sharp intake of breath, "...A spy is really the only thing that makes sense."

"Maybe they didn't fall for the distraction because you're a bad actress. And who would the spy even be, anyway?"

The blonde chuckles humorlessly, "How about the Horde officer who's living at--" her tone feigns apology, "I'm sorry--being held prisoner, at Bright Moon? A serious, upset tone makes Silver look to them. "Shadow Weaver has actual shadow spies--we met them."

Bow was right... It was bad. She's never been around when they argued like this. She actually preferred to be far away, she doesn't like hearing Adora get mad.

But Glimmer?
Silver recalled her last encounter with Catra.
As she left Glimmer was apparently waiting for her in the Woods. Glaring at her with her arms folded. Seeing how charred and dirty she was the queen interrogated her then and there. Figuring out why on her own.
"Where did you just come from? " Glimmer asked her eyes narrowing.
"Uh, I don't know what you're talking about--"
Glimmer scowled looking to the feline's state and to the direction as he appeared from.
"You rescued her? " She gasped.

"Who? "

"Argh!" Glimmer jabbed a finger at the feline's chest as her tail twitched, "This is treason Silver, I have half a mind to kick you out of the castle for this! Figure out whose side you're on! " She teleported away. Silver gulped and sighed looking back.
