Running away from deaths fate and seeing an unexpected face

OH FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK I thought as I sprinted into the forest with Maya & Gill, while a giant demonic black and purple creature were behind us destroying everything in its path. I never expected something like THIS to happen today, it all happened so fast. one minute I was asking Gabriel the warrior what Ellegards favourite food was and the next minute I'm running to escape death with Maya & Gill!

"Huff... Fuh... WHAT THE FUCK!?" Maya screamed as we stopped running in the forest for a quick break from running,

"Wha... What the FUCK WAS THAT!??" Gill shouted in confusion about what the big demonic creature was but neither could Maya nor I answer since we were just as confused as him, after our little break from running we decided to run again into the forest because that 'Thing' was getting closer to us.
After running for a while I heard a noise- a cry filled with so much pain & agony it hurt our
ears so we all stopped dead in our tracks
"Jes⟒s Chr¡st... who would that be!?" Maya 'asked'

"I don't know!.... We should keep going I mean that demonic thing in the sky is still coming towards us!" I replied "That person's friend would probably save them eventu-"
Before I could finish I saw Gill running into the forest
"GILL WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" I shouted at him, I looked behind us and that giant-looking Wither in the sky was slowly getting closer by the minute
"GILL STOP THE WITHER-THING-STORM- I DONT KNOW WHAT THE FUCK TO CAL— THE THING IS GONNA BE ON OUR FUCKING ASS GET BACK HERE!"

"YOU GET YOUR ASSES OVER HERE AND HELP!" Gill had yelled at me, he already was slowly fading away into the fog of the forest as he dashed through it.

"Aiden we might aswell! We have some time to check!" Maya told me, I was frustrated but we did have probably about 10 minutes before that witherstorm-thing would catch up to us but still I didn't want us to waste our time on someone who could have been already saved.

Maya & I walked deep into the forest being cautious with each step we took, the forest had this fog that made it harder to see so It wasn't ideal to be in here while that creature out there was on the loose.
"GILL!" I shouted out to him

"AIDEN IS THAT YOU!" Gill shouted from afar, he was still kinda close by so that was good.

"YEAH, CAN YOU COME OVER HERE!?" I asked him yelling

"SURE THIS FOG IS THICK SO ID RATHER BE NEAR YOU GUYS SO I DONT GET LOST" Gill had replied, I could hear him frantically running around before he finally found us, he looked deeply concerned
"I was with Reuban before you called my name, he was tugging on my pants and kept looking over there" He pointed inbetween 2 trees where there was a dark brown tint in the air, so we all quickly walked through the forest towards it . After quickly walking for a bit we heard rustling in a bush *Oink!* a familiar small pig came out of a bush shaking and rushing towards us *OINK!*
"Reuban! Sorry for leaving you alone" Gill apologized, Reuban tugged the hem of his pants
"Alright alright were coming!" Gill said to Reuban, we followed him until we made it towards the dark brown tinted fog.

When we got there we were all taken back by the sight we were seeing "J-Jesse?" I whispered under my breath before shouting "JESSE!" I quickly ran over to her with reuban beside me. Maya had covered her mouth and was wide-eyed and Gil just stood there in silence as he dawned a wide-eyed expression on his face his lips quivering and his hands & breath shaking...
