Chris
"He did what?!"
I was pacing the roof as Teo sat on the ledge facing me with a cigarette in his hand. "I'm fucking furious man."
"And Angie helped?"
"Of course she did! She's the goddamn princess of the castle over there, if anything it was her idea!" I need to hit someone, badly.
He stood up and started walking towards me. "Calm down man."
"Don't tell me to calm down! They could have hurt her."
"Yeh but they didn't, she's fine."
"For now. We took this poor girl from her life and are keeping her here against her will for who knows how long. It took three days for her to be put in harms way. What the fuck are we even thinking? We can't do this to her."
"Chris she's fine, alright? If anything I'm more worried about you than her."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean?"
Teo sighed and sat back down on the ledge staring at me like he felt bad in some way. "Why do you care so much about her? Like you said, it's been half a week and already you're talking about how much you wanna keep her safe."
"She's just a kid man, just like us, trying to live her life without conflict."
"Without conflict? She's the one sticking her nose in our business."
"She's Teo's fucking daughter! Of course she wants to know about us!"
"According to her."
I could feel myself getting angrier. I wanted with all of me to punch Teo in the face and knock him off that roof for a second. "What?"
"You heard me." Teo stood up and started getting closer to me. "What if this is all a hoax? We don't have a DNA test, I mean she doesn't even look like him. She could be a spy for all we know."
I looked him dead in the eye with my fists clenched. "You're telling me right now you don't feel something when she's around us?"
"She's been around us for 3 days Chris!" He was getting annoyed now too.
"Yea Teo, 3 days, and she already feels more like family than Angie and her pathetic lap dog."
He got right in my face. "Watch yourself Chris," he growled.
"Now who's questioning himself, huh? You know I'm right."
He pushed my chest hard enough to knock me on my feet. I stood up and started running towards him.
"That's enough," a stern voice called from the door to the roof.
Teo and I both stopped and looked over to see Scarlet standing with her arms crossed, Gemma and Ally on either side of her.
She walked towards us, clearly frustrated, with the other two shuffling behind her. "You two wanna act all tough and start kicking the shit out of each other? Is that it?"
Teo and I looked at each other at a loss for words.
"It's not like that," he spoke up.
"Yea I didn't even touch him," I followed.
She stared at us for a moment, shaking her head. Finally, she looked dead at Teo. "I had Ally run a DNA test. She is Teo's daughter. Now I don't want another word out of your mouth about it, understand?"
