After the school day was over, I went up to Trinity.
"Hey Aria!" said Trinity.
"Oh hey. Why are you always so jumpy? I don't get it."
"You just have to find your inner peace and spread it around. That's all." I just smiled at her response. She was, as the Japanese would say, "kawaii."

Trinity called her mom to ask her if she could go home with me. So, she tagged along. As we parked in the drive way, Trinity asked, "How's the pen pal project going?" "It's going pretty good, considering the fact that we just barely started. But yeah, it seems interesting," I said.

We got out of the car and went inside. "Hey sweetheart," my mom greeted. "Hey mo-" All of a sudden, I got cut off by Trinity saying, "ALOHA!!!" All I did was just stare at her. "You do realize we don't live in Hawaii right?" I giggled at her silliness. "We're gonna go upstairs," I said to my mom. So Trinity and I ran upstairs to my room. Right when I opened the door, I jumped onto my bed. "Man, why do I feel like this," I asked Trinity.

"Hm, I don't know. Why do you feel like...that?"
"I don't know. I'm just excited about the pen pal project to be honest," I replied. I actually was. I'm wondering if I get to write to a guy or girl. Who knows.

Later that day, I dropped off Trinity at her house. I made sure she went in safe and then I left. As I was driving, I came to an abrupt stop. "Oh my gosh!" I almost ran over a cute, little kitten. I came out of the car and ran towards to the kitten. I picked up the poor thing. "Oh my...shh," I said to comfort the helpless kitten. I went back inside my car, carrying the kitten with me. I placed it on my lap as I was driving.

When I went home, I made sure my mom didn't see the kitten. But then I heard her say, "What took you so long to get back home?"
"Uh, I went to hang out for a bit with Trinity, that's all," I said.
My mom didn't seem to suspect anything. I went upstairs and into the bathroom.

"Aww, you poor kitty," I said. I was gently petting the kitten's blonde fur. I have a thing for baby kittens. They're so fragile in a way and I couldn't help but save it. Anyway, I gave the kitten a bath and it didn't seem to like that experience. "It's okay," I said. I wrapped the kitten in a towel and went into my room. I sat on my bed, holding the kitten, and stared at the beige colored wall. I don't really like to decorate my room that much. Just a few pictures are enough.

When the kitten was all dried up, I let it lay on my bed so it could get comfortable to its surroundings. I laid right next to the kitty. I grabbed my cell phone and dialed Trinity's number. "C'mon pick up," I thought. After a few seconds, she picked up. "Herro," Trinity said in her cheerful tone. "Oh hey Trinity. I called just to let you know I almost ran over a kitten," I responded.
"YOU WHAT?!"
"Um, well, I said-"
"I know what you said, but why would you do that? You never know if that thing could be diseased or maybe even infested with fleas!" "How did you know I kept the kitten?"
"I know how you are Aria."
"But don't worry. I gave her...or him a bath."
"Ugh, but still. You picked up a stray cat off the street."
I don't know why Trinity thinks it's not okay. I mean, it's just a kitty. "I'm going to take care of it," I said.
"Does your mom know about this?" Trinity asked. "Well...no not at all."
"Are you kidding me Aria? Your mom's gonna get hella pissed at you," she said.
"I know and I understand the consequences I'll receive," I said to try and defend myself.
"But I also called you to ask what I name I should give to the kitty?"
"Ooh, name it 'Cherry'," Trinity said. It was blatantly obvious I wouldn't name my kitten that. "Think of something else. Something...Koreanish," I said. I really don't know about the Korean culture, but I know for a fact that Trinity does. One thing she does NOT tell anyone is her obsession with K-Pop.
"Oh! I have the perfect name - TaeTae!" Trinity exclaimed.
"Uh, is that supposed to mean something or..."
"Not exactly. But I think it's a cute name. After all, kittens are pretty cute," Trinity said.
"Hm, I guess," I said. I looked down at the cute kitten. I smiled and said, "Sleep well, TaeTae."
