Ash finished jotting down her notes, and raced back upstairs to grab her gardening book. One thing she had been recently diving into was gardening, and learning about different herbs and whatnot. Her grandmother cared about flowers, not necessarily herbs, but always looked out for her granddaughter's plants and helped give her tips on how to successfully grow and tend to different plants. She stuffed the flash card on a page, and grabbed a stapler, stapling the card to the page. She galloped down the stairs and walked out the front door, greeting the sun with the beam of her pearly whites. Cain joined her soon after, and on they went, tending to the garden.

Hours later, both of them had showers (separately, despite Cain's begging and bribing) ate, and were relaxing by the pool. Ashtynn always joked about Cain's sexuality, since he had eyebrow appointments, constantly wearing designer clothing, tanned, and was always primping himself. Of course, she just calls him metrosexual now after he started saying he could, "prove it to her that he was indeed straight." Ash smoked a cigarette as she opened another beer and turned the stereo up louder, dancing back towards her lawn chair. Cain happened to be passing her, to get his reefer, and shoved her into the pool.

"Cain! My cigarette!"

"Oh for heaven's sake, I'll buy you a whole pack, live a little, girlfriend." He winked a blue eye at her and she blushed. She proceeded to ascend the pool stairs, and noticed the purple dye from her hair was trailing down her face, down her breasts, and was right by her belly button ring. She quickly grabbed a towel and started drying her hair, and she noticed Cain stopped mid-blunt-roll and stared at her chest.

"Oh shit, did my top come off?" She asked, and looked down, seeing it was still secure. No... then what the hell is he staring at? He finally continued to roll the blunt, and once it was done, he approached her.

"When did you get your nipples pierced?" She started laughing, realizing they hadn't gone swimming together in the daylight for a couple years.

"Oh like a year and a half ago," she said nonchalantly, taking a swig from her beer can, and placing her sunglasses back over her eyes.

"WHAT?! And you didn't tell me? I am hurt." Cain placed a tattooed hand over his heart, feigning pain.

"You know, I don't know how many girl-guy friends tell the other if they get their privates pierced."

"Oh please, I saw Victoria's pussy the day she got it pierced."

"Gross."

"Oh it was, but the piercing made it look better." They both cracked up, and spent the rest of the day by the pool.

Twilight swam across the sky, pushing Ashtynn and Cain to take their endeavours inside. They were both back on her balcony, smoking and drinking, telling silly escapades, times they were kicked out of bars, fond childhood memories, nothing was off limits. Eventually they got into deeper topics. They started discussing mythical creatures.

"You really expect me to believe werewolves exist?" Ash laughed as she flicked the ash off her cigarette.

"I'm not saying they do but they could, maybe." Cain smirked. Ash shook her head.

"Okay, let's say they do exist. How do we know they do? How can we tell someone is a werewolf? Please, enlighten me." Ash leaned in, took a swig of beer, she figured this would be kind of fun.

"Well, obviously, they can't have silver touch them. Burns their skin. They act a little more... primal during full moons. They obviously shift. They can be hard to detect, especially in human form. They've been wandering this earth, along with vampires, succubi, demons, what have you, under disguise for millions of years."
