Trees whizzed by as the purple haired werewolf ran without looking back. What the fuck is wrong with werewolves. Could that really happen to her? Could she really, truly lose all control of her wolf? Also where was Raff? From the impression she had from him, he would be all about fighting Knox. Or finding her. Shit. She continued to change course, heading towards the river that flowed through the property. There were caves and places she could hide. Supposedly water diluted the smell, and she knew Cain would know where she was. Hopefully the out of control Knox wouldn't.

Ashtynn could hear and smell the river, she was so close! Twigs were snapping behind her. What the? Who was that behind her? It didn't smell like Cain, Knox, or Raff. Who the fuck was that? It's probably another animal trying to the get the fuck out of Knox's way. A tree behind her crashed to the ground. That's one big animal.

Ash picked up speed and leaped into the river, luckily it wasn't overflowing. Ash clambered to the other side of the bank and she finally turned around. Standing across from her was a large white wolf. Ashtynn stared, who was that?

"Um, hi? I don't know who you are, but I have a pack of werewolves, an out of control alpha, and an incubus that care about me and I'm sure they'll find me soon."

The wolf raised its head and sniffed, and sounded like it purred. It started down the bank of the river, carefully placing its paws down the slope. Ashtynn backed up and quickly jumped the fence on the other side and continued running. She didn't know who that was, but that noise stirred her wolf and she knew it was a male. Was that someone in Knox's pack? Her thoughts were interrupted when something flashed past her. There was a man standing, his muscular arms crossed, a smirk on his half marred face.

Ash skidded to a stop a couple yards away from him. The man smiled at her, his teeth were a dentist's dream, perfectly straight and white. He had hay colored hair tied into a bun on the top of his head, and light brown eyes. The man also had a scar on the left side of his face that started from his eye down to his chin. He was definitely attractive, and was definitely a werewolf.

"Well hello there. Who are you?" The man lifted his nose to the air and sniffed, eyes rolling back and his smirk widened into a grin, eyes shifting to gold.

"I'm Ashtynn. Or Ash." The man stepped forward, looking at her seductively, and Ash gulped.

"What a beautiful name for a beautiful unmated werewolf in heat." The man purred, continuing to step towards her. Ash smiled nervously, wishing she had someone on her side with her. She's never been in a fight in her life, and this guy was big and seriously ripped. Also, he'd most likely been born knowing he was a werewolf and probably had been training physically since he was a child.

"Yeah, funny thing is I do have a mate, he's the out of control alpha I mentioned earlier. And I'm fairly sure he won't be happy that you're coming onto me right now." Ash said, head held high. This only made the man laugh, his entire body shaking.

"Yeah, funny thing is he will have to come onto my territory to get you."

"Come again?"

"I know you heard me. Yeah that fence you climbed over? Separates our territories. I just so happen to be the alpha of this one." Ash groaned. She never wanted to meet another alpha male ever again. She had met three within learning about supernaturals for a few weeks, and that was more than enough.

"Well, he's kinda loco right now, and I don't think he will care. No fence is going to stop him." As if on cue a roar ripped through the forest, causing birds to take to the sky.

Ashtynn knew that noise, that was a majorly pissed off Knox. And he had just found her. The man narrowed his eyes and was about to run and grab her when Knox in wolf form charged between the two and tackled the man to the ground. Ashtynn fell backwards and scrambled away from them. In the man's place, a large white wolf emerged and snapped its jaws at Knox, releasing a roar himself.
