Time to face the music

When I got home Joker thankfully wasn't there, just in case he saw the horrible thing I shouldn't have done. I don't even know what came over me ! "Harley where's the joker ?" I questioned not so politely. She shrugs, "out with some new team of his ! Heard he caught the Superbrat ! Ain't that great ?" Harley asks excitedly, wait supergirl's missing ? How ? why ? I should be dancing with joy but, I can't... I don't know why. Either way. I grin to avoid suspicions and laugh happy dancing to my room. Once I lock the door, I left myself with my own thoughts with no one to disturb me. But barely 1 minute later Mister J is back and yelling. Happy yelling but still yelling. "We're goin out to party tonight !" He yells as all the goons gather. "put your coats on boys and girls ! We're going to have fun..." He says his voice going raspy. I gulp silently making my way down the stairs. He grins at me and even pats my head. I let out a sigh of relief. I put on a grin and hook two knives onto my belt. "Heard you captured the superbrat, you and your team really are something !" I found myself praising. This seemed to make joker smile. "Puddin !" Harley cartwheeled into the room and kissed him. Joker let her do it for about two seconds before shoving her away, either way that lady was happy. "Heard they captured The hotdog too! That twin of superbrats really is the ace card, shame when we have to kill her" Joker said carelessly. "And speak of the devil she should be here soon, to help us catch birdbrain and bring him back to base" true to his word a black haired girl dressed in a black unitard with silver electrical lines outlining it appeared,
She directed us into her ship, fancy. "Where we goin pud ?" Harley asked trying to sit on his lap. Disgusting. He shoved her off roughly making me snicker. She glared at me but her question was answered "since inferno here is our secret weapon we will go into the baby leagues base and take the birdbrain, while she tells us what to do from the jet" joker explained plainly.

As we neared our destination inferno turned the jet invisible and within five minutes I found myself jumping out of a plane and into the woods. "Okay in five metres right the cameras are active two metres left is the entrance. Turn on invisibility and walk right" we did as instructed and sure enough five cameras were hidden in the mountain and three in the trees. "Keep walking an air vent is on the floor, right there, stop. now the smallest one that little girl you go in, the entire team should be asleep, but keep watch Canary or red tomato may be there, keep invisibility on and turn on heat adaptors" the heat adaptors as the name suggest copies the heat of nearby surrounding. So if it's warm your body will be warm and no heat motion cameras can sense you because you're literally the surroundings. "There are no lasers but careful of trip wires in the air vent when you spot one use the lasers I have given you, it will freeze the wire allowing you to break it, now go" following her instructions I slipped into the air vent silently. "When you are in use override code 'S84123' and allow full access" I took mental notes as I crawled through the vent, I only had to remove two barb wires easy. "We have a problem" I whispered. "The bird brain is awake and on the computers, I could take him out but risk waking the rest of his team red tomato and Canary isn't here but I can't take the team on alone" I whispered into the comm. "plan B, joker trip a wire and turn visible, by doing so you alert the team who will go out and fight you. During the fight the little girl and I will take down robin and bring him to base, if the rest of you get caught let joker escape first and we'll send a team for you tomorrow" translation let the goons and Harley get caught while joker inferno and I go free. Sounds good to me. Can that person stop calling me a little girl ! It's annoying as hell. "Alert alert, joker spotted five metres from base" a robot announced, and within two minutes the entire team was dressed and running out of their rooms. Robin hacked the computer systems and allowed everyone out of the cave. I grinned making my way back to wait for the right moment to attack. When I reached the entire baby league was in battle with joker and his goons. The goons were barely holding fort. "Now" Inferno hissed in my ear. Immediately I sneaked out of the vent unnoticed, Robin was surrounded by a group of six goons after he beat up two the others got my message and ran so Robin will think they ran due to fear. I got him into a head lock position easily. "Night night" I whispered spraying him with fear gas. "Got the boy now teleport me up" I said into my comm, the last thing I heard before leaving was "Robin !" Oh the sweet terror of his team, deliciously sweet terror.
