Over the summer, Joey found herself slowly beginning to fit in. She and Jen had gotten jobs at Mike's restaurant and became great friends. She and Dawson would constantly fight like brother and sister, him saying she hogged the bathroom a lot and her saying he was messy and lazy. And Pacey? He was her confidant, her best friend. They did everything together. Laughing together or sharing deep insecurities. Becoming comfortable with each other and both of them started to fall slowly for the other one.
