The sound of waves wakes her up. The sun is just starting to rise. The warmth covered her body. She slowly started to rise and check the time. 7:16 am. Oh no...

Jordan grabs her stuff and runs home. She had been late home. She could only imagine what her father would do. "Maybe he wouldn't even notice" she tried to tell herself but she knew that he had to know.

She reaches for the door handle when the door opens before her. "Fuck" Jordan says. Barry steps out the door. "Remember when I told you that your dad would be in deep shit if he didn't pay me back. Well looks like he learned his lesson for paying me late" he tells Jordan with a smirk. She sets her surf board down in the grass by the front door and walks inside.

Her father laid on the ground in pain. He had a black eye, a busted lip, a broken nose, and scratch marks all over him. "Jordan, please help me" he whimpered in pain. "You had it coming. You shouldn't have taken drugs from him and then not except to have to pay him? You deserved it" you tell your dad in a firm tone.

You head upstairs and grab your suitcase. You stuff all your clothes, shoes, and some important stuff in the suitcase. "Jordan... JORDAN" your father yells at her. "Shit I better hurry up" Jordan whispers under her breath. She gets everything she needs in her suitcase and hops out her bedroom window.

Jordan's bedrooms door flings open with a shattering noise. "WHERE ARE YOU!?!?" her father is not playing around anymore. She runs around to the front door and grabs her surfboard. "I can't run with my surfboard and my suitcase" she tells herself until she sees her dad truck. She rushes over to her dads old 1977 Ford F-150. She turns the key and the engine roars. "JORDAN" she could hear her dad closer now. She stomps on the gas peddle and doesn't look back.

She checks her phone and it 8:36 pm. "JJ, oh no I have to hangout with JJ" she says while still driving. She gets a notification. JJs name appeared on her phone. "Hey darlin! Could you come to the beach we were at yesterday. There's a party and I really want to see you" the text reads. Jordan starts to blush. No boy had ever made Jordan feel that way let alone make her blush. Except for JJ. "Yeah ofc! I'll be there in 5" she sends him.

She finds a parking spot and walks down some wooden stairs leading to the beach. There was a huge amount of people. To the right of her it looked like kooks. They all had nice clothing with white sneakers. To the left of her looked like the the pouges. Random tee shirt and shorts. They didn't care what they looked like. It's not like they got a lot of attention from the kooks anyways. Jordan made her way through the people when she heard her name being called out. "Jordan!" Someone yelled out in an playful voice. JJ. She whipped to see his hat backwards with his hair sticking out the sides. He had a blue Carhartt shirt on and khaki shorts on. He looked good. She ran over to him with a warm smile. He grabbed her and brought her in for a hug. He began to lift her into the air as they were still hugging. "I'm glad you showed!" JJ tells her as he sets her down. "Of course I showed" Jordan says with her warm smile. "Do you want to meet the rest of the pouges!?" he asks as he grabs your waist pulling her in closer. He eyes glistened in the moonlight just like they did the night before. "I'd love to JJ"
