*Eddies POV*

Its officially been a week since I had that sleep over at Richies house. But..for some reason things seem more awkward. Like everytime i go near Richie he seems nervous? maybe i did something to make him uncomfortable.
maybe i should ask him what's wrong? I mean i have already tried but he would either change the subject or just say he was "fine" when he clearly wasn't. I think i might ask him to meet up with me at the kissing bridge. Because—look, this might sound stupid but, what if Richie likes me? I mean I Clearly, like him back—what am i thinking? Richie? dating a dude? dating me? yeah right. Whatever, I just wanna know why he's acting like this...

*Richies POV*

"Richie! door!" I hear my mom yell. "coming!" I yell back. I run down stairs and then to the door, I open it and see.."Eddie? the fuck? what is he doing here?" I think. "Hey, Rich." he says looking at the ground. "Hey, Eds?" i say.
"can you meet me at the kissing bridge? i wanna talk." Eddie said. "The kissing bridge..? Ed-" i get cut off, "Okay, i gotta get going now. Meet me in 30." Eddie says while walking to his bike, I sighed and closed the door, locking it.

"who was it?" my mom asks, I look behind me and see her looking directly at me. "Eddie, You know? from school?" i say, "Eddie Kaspbrak? Of course i know him! isn't he's Sonia's son?" she says while smiling "yeah." i start walking back to the stairs but she stops me "Rich? Is something wrong?" she says. "No, mom." i say and sigh, walking up the stairs to my room. "What if Eddie knows? I'm gay..and that i like him." i think.

Richie rode his bike all the way to the kissing bridge, Once he got there he saw Eddie. Richie got off his bike and walked towards him. "Hey, Eddie spaghetti!" Richie says, "Dude, seriously. Stop calling me that!" Eddie says rolling his eyes. "Alright alright..Hey, Ed—" "RICHIE." Eddie cuts Richie off, making Richie laugh. "Anyways, what's up?" Richie asks, Eddie then frowns. "Rich..what's wrong? you've been acting so..weird lately. like anytime i'm near you, you just—" Eddie sighed. "Just tell me what going on, did i do something?" Richie froze for a second, "No, Eddie. You didn't do anything..its just.." Richie froze again, he looked at the ground. "Its just? come on dude. Spit it out!" Eddie said,

I sighed, and then i looked Eddie in the eyes. I wanted to tell Eddie how i felt, but i didn't wanna screw up our friendship. "You know what? screw it. I love you, Eds."
