Angel walked away after dropping the note on the counter. Book boy was on his break, laughing with a few people in the cafe right across from the book shop. She wondered what his voice sounded like; was it soft and warm, or maybe deep and gruff? Maybe it was a mix of both. At some point, she should talk to him.
Her mind was a muddle of thoughts, and yet, all of them were about the same thing.
Or, rather, the same person.
She thought about Luke a lot, more than she should, probably. But that was okay, it meant she didn't think about the things that were wrong, the things that stressed her out.
The things that made her... upset.
'Maybe,' she thought 'I'll talk to him tomorrow.'
So she left.
