DONT BLAME ME
-i've been breaking hearts a long time and toying with them older guys-

"Keilani, i'm home." I hear mom shout.

I run down the stairs immediately, almost slipping because glass stairs aren't the best with socks but anyway.

She smiles when she sees me, standing up even though she's still supposed to be in a wheelchair.

I hug her, "Where's your wheelchair?"

"I don't need it anymore."

"Momma you need it for another month?" pull away.

She smiles, "A month too long. I need to talk to you."

"About what?"

"Ciro Ferrari."

"No please." I walk her into the living room, my clothes were scattered around the floor because i was attempting to sort through them, i have too many clothes, but i got bored and started trying everything on instead.

"Keilani." She makes her voice more stern.

"Mother." I dump all of my clothes that were on the couch, onto the floor. She sits down, i push the pouffe over and let her rest her feet on it.

"He told me you have a stalker."

I cannot believe the audacity he has.

"I didn't know you two were besties." I raise an eyebrow.

"We're not. But i thought my own daughter would tell me if she's being threatened."

"I can handle it."

"He also told me there was nine guys." She clears her throat.

I look down, "So he tells you everything?"

"Why didn't you tell me?" She softens her voice.

"Because i didn't need you to be stressed out. I can handle myself, i'm fine."

"Keilani, i'm your mother."

"I know that. You're the best mom ever but four are already dead, i'm going to kill the other four, then i'm going to find out who the ninth guy is and kill him too." I stand up, "Sorted."

She narrows her eyes, "So, i had a friend come up to me two nights ago, congratulating me on my daughters new mission that will save a lot of people a lot of problems." She folds her arms across her chest, "You cannot kill Ciro Ferrari."

"What? Someone said that to you?" I hate snitches.

"Keilani Asha."

"Money is money."

"I will give you seven million if you wish, just don't kill him."

"Momma you don't know what he did to me." I stand up, "Do you?"

She shakes her head no gently.

"Awesome, so you have no right telling me if i can or cannot kill him I hate him."

"What did he do?" She asks.

I should tell her, right? Before i kill Coin. At least someone will know how much of a dick he is.

"Pinned me to the bed and forced me to listen to what happened to me, only he blamed me, saying i begged for it." I lift my shirt up, "Then he cut my scar deeper so it won't heal."

My mommas demeanour completely shifted, "Why didn't you tell me that?"

"I'm an adult now. I can handle my stuff." I shrug, "If i want to kill Coin, i'll kill Coin."
