Fate of the Raven - Mitake

Chapter 1- Hanagaki Takemichi

Hello everyone, I am, yours truly, Hanagaki Takemichi. I'm 23 years old and currently working in a very big convenience store.

Right now I'm walking back to my appartment because it's 10:20 pm. Today I had to an extra shift because my friend there couldn't come.

So he asked me to take his place for today.  And i really couldn't say no to him when he gave me puppy eyes. I seriously can't say no to anyone when they say please to me (￣ヘ￣;) {Iruma 2.0 (´⊙ω⊙')}

*Growwllllll* 'ughh now I'm hungry?' I complained to myself. "But few minutes ago I wasn't hungry and now my stomach is making noises.... My life is a total misery." I mumbled while walking down the road.

Now I'm trying to find a nice and cheap place to eat something but I have no luck (｡•́︿•̀｡)

"Seriously, why does this always happen to me (╥﹏╥)" i groaned while walking because mostly all of the ships were closed. ' Man I'm about to die due to hunger today' i tried to cry internally but hunger made me weak.

Suddenly, i saw a beautiful restaurant with glass doors and it's interior was so charming, it felt like it was pulling me towards it.

'wooaaahhhh, this one looks so good and it's not even close yet. I'm the most luckiest person'. My eyes were shining like stars.

"Ok so the speciality of the restaurant is............. RAMEN!! oh just what I wanted." I said practically skipping my steps in air and entered the restaurant.

Just as i opened the door a chime made a voice telling about a new entry.

"WELCOME TO OUR RESTAURANT !" Two boys which were around my age greeted cheerfully while looking at me.

"Uhh, yeah thank you for having me." There was an awkward silence and somehow cricket sounds were heard in the background. ' I guess that wasn't a good answer.' I sweatdroped at my dumbness and lack of communication.

Sensing the weird awkwardness, the boy with blue afro hair asked "So what would you like to have sir?". His face had a scowl present on it but his demnour was calm. He was kind of cute too.

'Wait what am I thinking?! Ugh shut up my dumb mind. They asked you something. Answer them 🙄' scolding myself for my stupidity i answered them

"Um I would like to have your special ramen. The one whose picture is outside." I was fidgeting under their intense gaze because I probably took too much time to answer.

'ugh they must think I'm a creep and weirdo now. Well-done Hanagaki well done.' slapping my internal self, i went to sit at the Isle infront of the counter they were standing beside.

"Alright! Coming right up. Anything else to drink?" The boy with orangish afro hair asked while bringing some boiled noodles out of a pot.

"Uhh, just water please, thank you." I answered him while taking my seat. "ok ..." This time it was the blue hair one who answered me while the orange one started preparing my order.

I watched them with admiration as they skillfully and professionally did their work like a prodigy. Their coordination was so on line like they are not two but one person.

"Excuse me, can I ask a question if you don't mind?" I asked them while they were busy in there work.

"Yes sure, cutie. You can ask us anything (◠‿・)." The orange haired one said while smiling. Though he was continuously smiling, this time it looked like flirtatious one. Guess I was finally going insane

'CUTIE?!! I'm pretty sure this shouldn't be directed towards me. I'm not even half as handsome and cute as them.'

Ignoring the nickname, i asked them " Uh alright then. So are you guys related?" My curiosity was now getting the best of me.

"Yup. We are twins." The orange one said while the blue one nodded very shyly. 'Seriously he is just too precious and cute. Ugh 😩 my heart can't take the cuteness.'

"My name is Nahoya Kawata, Call me smiley. This is my twin brother, Souya Kawata, you can call him angry." He introduced himself while still making my ramen.

"Oh, nice to meet you Smiley San and Angry San, I'm Hanagaki Takemichi. You can call me takemichi." I also introduced myself while giving them a closed eye smile.

After a few moments, comforting silence took over us. I looked around and saw only two of the many tables were occupied.

' What else do i expect at this time anyway.' i said to myself while my eyes roamed around the restaurant.

It was a very cosy one with many flowers and plants. The lighting was sunshine yellow and walls were sand brownish yellow giving it an overall cosy felling.

"Here's your order, Takemichi San. Enjoy." The blue haired boy or Angry was the one who gave it to me while his brother was nowhere in sight.

"Oh thank you very much. It looks so delicious" i said practically drooling over it. I mean how couldn't I? The bowl filled with ramen infront of me looked so appetizing, my stomach started to growl .

Ignoring my growling stomach, i took one nice bite of it and ' OMFG! ITS SO FUCKING GOOD!!' I screamed in my head. I was literally in heaven.

The presentation was on the point, the tase was awesome as hell and everything was perfect. 'this is seriously the best day of my life.' i said while thanking God and munching on my dinner.

After a while i finished the ramen and was totally satisfied with what I ate. "Damn I'm so full. This is from now on my favourite place." I mumbled to myself with my eyes closed.

"Oh that's great to hear ( ╹▽╹ ). Glad you liked it." Simley said while he was closing the counter.

Other coustomes left a few minutes ago and now I was alone there with them.

"Mhm. This was like heaven. Anyways, how much is the bill?" I asked them while taking out my wallet.

Both of them looked at eachother before bursting out laughing. I looked at them confused as i couldn't understand what was so funny.

"What? Did I say something wierd?" I asked them totally clueless about the situation.

"Oh no no, Takemichi. It's just you are too cute." Simley said wiping his lone tear which was coming out o his closed eyes.

"You don't need to pay for this Takemichi San. It's in the house." Angry said making me more confuse.

"But why?" " Because you are our friend now and we can't let our friend pay us ." Smiley said still laughing his ass off.

But I was now hella confused. "What kind of logic is that." I complained.

" It is what it is. Don't worry." This time angry said with a scowl on his face but his aura was calm and welcoming.

"But friendship is on one hand and buisness is on another. I saw the amount of the bowl outside. It was 250 yen right?" I reasoned with them.

"Takemichi seriously. You don't have to." Smiley who was now calm said to me once again.

"But I want to! Here. 300yen.  50 bonus." I placed the money on counter while giving thema wink.

Then I bid my goodbye and rushed out of the restaurant. Though I like free food, but not like this .

After that I went back to my shitty apartment, changed my clothes and fell asleep.

'heck. Today was a long day.' this was my last thought before i went in the other world.

Author's note: heyo guys. This is my new story. The old one is still in process but this is just a little what if I got in my mind any 12:30 in the morning. This chapter was just the calm before the storm.

Just like in the previous story, the updates won't be regular. English is not my first language so forgive me for my bad grammer.
