Vampire's Night: Book 1

Chapter 3

The next day in class Hanabusa looked angry. "Hey Akatsuki," I whispered, "yeah" he answered. "What wrong with Hanabusa?" I asked, "oh, he is disappointed that there were not many fan girls this morning because of the test." He gave me a wink, "oh!" I said. Suddenly my history teacher screamed, "HEY LISTEIN!!!!" everyone gasped. He sounded like the nightmare before Christmas, because he is. Then he took a breath in and said calmly "class dismissed."

The Night Class walked out of the classroom silently and slowly. I then turned to run into the forest, but not too deep into it. Because there are many Level E's in the forest so you have to be careful. I then climbed a tree a distance away from the grounds; I sat there watching the Night Class roam around the school grounds

Then a few minutes later I climbed out of the tree and entered the school grounds, as I was walking I ran into a tall figure. I fell to the ground; it was Akatsuki, "I am sorry." I said picking up my school books. "Sorry about that" he said speechless, helping me get up.

I then thanked him and walked off to go and find Ruka and Rima.

That day I tossed and turned it was hard to get to sleep. (Oh, and I said day because vampires go to sleep in broad daylight and get up at 5:00pm or 6:00pm) I finally got to sleep at 11:30am, but something bad was in the air, the Night Class could sense it. Ruka then asked me "can you feel it?" I nodded, "something is going to happen" I said.

The next night everyone was tired. As I walked across the school grounds something crept up behind me. I turned around cautiously; it was a Level E vampire. Not for long! I froze into a block of ice and it smashed into a million pieces. I stared at the ice pieces and picked up one that was sharp, but I cut myself. It drew blood, and then it quickly healed up. If you are a type of vampire you can heal your wounds, but if severe wounds like stabs from a knife or gun shots from a Vampire Hunter's weapons cannot heal easily and can even KILL vampires. If you are an Aristocrat you turn into dust if you are killed somehow.
