Ari (POV)

*volleyball practice *

"Where have you been?" Coach Marcy asked

"sorry i got in late amd i-"

"late from what?"

"from uh from..oh please can this just be like a warning?" i said trying to get some type of mercy

"no this is your second strike which means you'll have to sit out the next 3 games." she said

"but come on the recruiters are coming on tomorrow on fridays game!" i semi yelled

"well maybe this will teach you how to tell time! if your late one more time your off the team no excuses!" she said firmly before walking away.

i really fucked up this time.

"damn girl, what was you doing last night?" my teammate karma said. her voice, look, everything was just annoying to me about her, she was always in somebody business

"please this isnt the time" i said.

"well damn, i just asked" she chuckled while chewing her gum as if thats the last thing she was going to ever eat.

"wheres casey?" i asked. casey was the captain of the volleyball team. i hated her because she slept with ty before.

"aw casey? dang girl you late. she left college. rumor has it that she got pregnant" karma was the girl who was always knowing the gossip. so she was sometimes useful

"damn, she was to fast anyway." i shrugged

"yea sure was. but coach marcy calling us over so talk to you later" i waved at her and she walked off.

casey was a fast girl, and i wouldnt be surprised if the rumor was true..

Ty (POV)

Listening to this teacher in physics was going through one ear and out the other. i couldnt wait to get out of this damn class. fuck that, i couldnt wait to get out this damn school. my coach promised me after my second year of college i could get in the NBA and im praying i do cause i cant stay in this school

"are you listening ty?" professor Hudson said

"yes sir" i said laying my head down on the desk

"my job isnt to babysit. so put your head down..hell go to sleep, your not helping yourself young man"

i nodded my head and tried to stay up but this fucking class was filled with about 40 kids and it seemed like everybody understands this lesson but me.

After class i went to study hall to do some homework, and once i was done i went home and called ari up

"wassup?" i asked her over the phone

"nothing.." she said sadly

"you sure ?"

"last night, i loved it but it cant happen again..not a school night. i cant play volleyball for the next 3 games, and the recruiters are coming tomorrow for fridays game"
