Chapter 13

Alana (POV)

Staying in this empty ass hotel is soooo boring. i have nothing to do, no one to talk too. i have started my online class, but the class is only 3 hours a days, so its nothing like regular school. i've literally been staring at this white wall for 20 minutes just thinking of how i got here. how did i get pregnant with no parents, no boyfriend, no college, nothing. its crazy how the people that are so close to you are the first to turn on you.

i decided to do something with my life today so i got up from the bed, took a shower, and did my hair. i was trying to pick out an outfit but it felt as if i couldnt fit into any of my clothes anymore.

*Alana phone rings*

"hello?" i answered not looking at the caller ID

"can i talk to you" ty said over the phone

"um yea"

"ok, in person"

"alright im at LA hotel on 46th street" i hung up. i wonder why he wanted to come see me. he sound depressed and he had me worried.

within 10 minutes he was at my door and i opened it. he didnt even say hi he went straight to sit down on the bed. wasting no time he spoke up

"im about to tell you something you probably dont wanna hear" he said nervously

"what is it?"

Shawn (POV)

Walking into room B312 looking at my sister laying down with all these wires connected to her body made me angry. Not at her, but at me for letting this happen to her, and mostly for letting Willy do this.

"Hello And you are?"

"Her Brother Shawn" i said to the Doctor

"Okay hello Shawn Kiara is doing well. Now we have done some testing. i have good and bad news"

"countine" i said

"Good News she will be fine so dont worry about her dying or anything, BUT she might become paralyzed. we can do surgery but it will cost about $3000. this surgery will take the bullet out, and restore her strength that way she wont be as effected."

holding my hands over my face in shame i felt a tear come down. "lets do the surgery i'll pay" i said

"okay, but theres more. this surgery is risky. if it goes right, she will live if it doesnt her life can be put to an end. its either have her paralyzed or go through with the surgery and she can be healthy, but it is a possible chance she can..die"

after her saying that, my tears became like a waterfall. one after another. what would you do? either have you sister in a wheel chair for the rest of her life or have her go through a surgery that will make her healthy, but a possible chance of dying. this was to risky. I want her to be healthy but What it doesn't go right and she dies. just the thought of it makes me depressed.

"Sir we need an answer by today. if you do go thorugh it, we will give her medicine so she cant feel a thing, and she will have to stay here for the day. i'll give you some time to think" i nodded in agreement and she left leaving me to think.

What should i do?

Ty (POV)

"im about to tell you something you probably dont wanna hear" i said to Alana

"what is it?"

"im leaving LA"

"Where are you going???" She asked

"back to New York" i said putting my hand on my forehead

"so you too huh? your going to leave me like everybody else. "

"im sorry. i know i know, but after NYCU saw my grades improve in LA they decided to let me come back. that school has the best recruiters for basketball, and i really need to go and get my career going before i start getting into trouble and going back to my old ways."

"wow, " she said chuckling "you know what its fine. i dont know why im tripping i should be use to peole walking out on me. when you leaving?"

"Tonight......" i said

she whipped her head up so fast i thought her head was about to fall of her body.

"Tonight???" she said

"yes"

that was the end of me and Alana

For GOOD.
