The morning bell rang and I got up on my own this time changed quickly and left to get my shovel. "Did Smoke just get up on her own, on time?" A very confused X-ray said. "Zigzag rushed out grabbing his shovel and catching up to me.
"Good morning to you too Smoke" he said, I ignored him, he reached out and turned me to face him stopping me from walking any further. "What's up with you" he asked concern written all across his face. "Nothing" I stated before walking ahead again. "Smoke please" Zigzag pleaded. "I'm just mad about Barf okay" I said clearly annoyed.
Zigzag sighed but didn't say anything else about it, "So what do you think of the new kid?" He asked, I had totally forgotten that he even showed up, "uhhh" I didn't know what to say, Zigzag laughed "you didn't even notice did you?" "Uhm maybe" I said, Zigzag laughed again and put his arm around my shoulders as we walked farther out into the desert.
Eventually everyone else showed up including the new kid he seemed lost and I laughed to myself, "what's so funny?" Magnet asked from next to me, I just nodded my head to the lost looking kid, Magnet laughed too. "Look a little lost there Stanley" he said still laughing, "why are we digging" he asked "to build character" Zigzag said I frowned BarfBag said that to me when I got here. Lunch rolled around and I sat back down into the shade of my hole.

Zigzag POV
"Uhm Zigzag?" Stanley asked, "what's up?" "Why do you guys call her Smoke?" I smiled as I heard the flick of her lighter I nodded towards her "that's why" I answered, Stanley looked over to see her with a lit cigarette in her hand and smoke blowing out of her mouth, "she's allowed to do that?" Stanley asked, "hell no she's not allowed to do that, everyone's just to scared to tell her no" I answered.
I walked over to smoke and sat down next to her in the shade of her hole, "hey" she said quietly "hey back" I answered just as quietly, "wanna hit?" She asked me extending her cigarette to me, I smirked "sure" I put my arm around her as I took the cig from her "thanks" she watched me as I took a drag, "what?" I laughed as I blew out the smoke, "nothing" she said taking it back, "no tell me" I said, she smirked and leaned in closer to me, "make me"
