"The first dream I had of him was a week ago. I don't know who he is. But he's in my dreams, all of the time." Bella explained to one of the other patients. She was talking to Callie, well, Bella was talking, Callie was listening. Or it seemed that way. People there, never really cared about what you had to say. You were there for a reason, and until you got 'better' you would do everything they said, without question. But that's the thing. Bella didn't need to get better, because there was nothing wrong with her.
"Do you think I'm going crazy?" Bella asked. After Callie didn't answer, Bella got up and headed back to her room.
"Bella, where are you going?" One of the nurses asked. Bella mentally rolled her eyes.
"Back to my room." She said, turning and walking away. Why did everyone have to know ever move you made around here? Did she have to ask to breathe? Because if so, this place was getting more rediculous every day.
As she reached her room, she opened the door, and watched it shut behind her. Locking her in until she needed something. Bella sat down on her bed, taking her journal off of the nightstand, grabbing her old pen in the process. Before she would see the counselor, she would write down her dreams. She was the 3rd person to see Dr. Calvin, she was after Callie. Callie was here before Bella. She had blonde hair and green eyes. She was pretty, in Bella's opinion. She never talked to Bella, but she would talk to anyone else. Well, mostly the doctors and nurses. Bella didn't know if it was because Callie didn't like her, or if it was because Callie hadn't warmed up to her yet. bella wasn't all new here; at the hospital. And she was already talking to strangers about her dreams of that boy. Bella has been here a week and some odd days. She wasn't really keeping count.
Her writing kept her busy until it was time for her visit to Calvin's office. She heard a knock at her door and realized she was more occupied than she thought. She looked over at the clock. 3:34.
As she walked down the white halls with one of those annoying nurses, she was thinking of all the irrelevent questions Calvin would ask this time. It always started out with "Hello Bella, how has your day been?" And Bella knew that's how it would be, every visit.
The nurse -let's call her nurse No-Name, only because Bella didn't bother to learn her name- knocked on the big wooden door.
"Doctor Calvin, there's a patient waiting to see you." Nurse No-Name called out.
"Hello Bella, how has your day been?" Calvin asked, and Bella cracked a small smile. Just how she anticipated.
"Eh, it's been aright. Yours?" Bella replied. Dr. Calvin was a nice lady. Bella thought she would take it easy on her, since maybe that would get her oout of this place alot faster. Nurse No-Name left, and now it was just Bella and Dr. Calvin.
"So, did you have anymore of those dreams?" The Doctor asked. Bella nodded. Today might not be so boring after all.
"Yeah? Was it the same as last time?" She asked. Bella shook her head.
"Alright, tell me." Calvin said, folding her arms and her full attention on Bella.
"Okay, well. I actually saw his face.. Well, his eyes. Only his eyes. The rest of his face were just mere shadows," Bella started talking with her hands, "He's tall, he's got curly hair, and the most intriguing green eyes. He was moving his eyebrows, like he was talking, explaining something. Something I wasn't unserstanding." Bella continued. The Doctor wrote something down, on her pad, like she always did.
"You know that feeling you get, when you tell somebody something that you've waited to say, and when you finally tell them, it feels like the weight of the world has been lifted off your shoulders?" Bella asked, she was trying to explain how the dream felt. She felt like she could actually feel his presence. Like he was actually there, talking to her.
"Have you said anything to him.. In your dream?" Calvin asked. Bella racked her brain, going back through the dreams.
"No." She said. Doctor Calvin wrote something down, as usual.
"Maybe you should try to talk. Get your concious to comunicate. If you can do it with other dementions, you can do it in your dreams. I think it could be possible." The Doctor explained. Bella smiled.
"I'll try it." She said.
They talked about the reason she was in there. Reasons why she tried to do, what she did. And talked about irrelevent things for the extra 10 minutes Bella had requested.
Being the way Bella is, things drive you to commit to things you never thought you would. Sometimes, it was a good thing, talking to who Bella talked to, eased her pain. But others, drove her to the reason on why she was where she was.
And being the way Bella is, makes you try to commit suicide.
