Going down
The Avengers and Estrid are gathering at the bridge on the shield ship. Natasha is seated in the chair next to Steve while the rest stands up. They're watching the security camera and discussing Loki.
"He really grows on you, doesn't he?" Brenner says with crossed arms watching the security footage turn off.
"Loki's gonna drag this out. So, Thor, what's his play?" Steve asks, tilting his head as he looks up at Thor who's turned the other way.
"He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard, nor any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the earth, in return, I suspect, for the Tesseract." He states while turning towards the rest and slowly walking forward the table, where Estrid now sat down on the other side of Natasha.
"An army. From outer Space." Steve adds looking around the room if anyone is buying it.
"So he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for." Bruce adds while fidgeting with his glasses. His voice has a little crisp in it, and Estrid can feel that he does not want to be here.
"Selvig? That's your friend dad. Is he hurt?" She remarked. They all turned their heads at her direction wondering why that 13 year old is still in here and how did she know about Erik.
Estrid was mostly confused on how well they knew each other even though they fought a few hours before. She was ready on stand by in case a new fight would appear, she would not let anything happen to her dad. She didn't pay much attention to what they talked about but one thing she noticed was when a nervous person entered the room. She turned herself in the chair and did a lil spin with it and saw Tony stark walk in to the room. She could feel him, every thought he had and what he was thinking. She knew he had something suspicious going on but it might be useful for her in the future to use against him."I'm sorry what is this child doing here?" Tony expressed with his annoying sarcasm and huge ego. He slowed down and stopped in front of the table and pulled a screen up in mid air. Estrid sighed deeply while she rolled her eyes to look at Thor.
"She's here under my protection, don't underestimate my daughter she wields great power." Thor said proudly to Tony as he held a thump up to Estrid who was giving him the shut up look. Tony didn't look so convinced he mostly just rolled his eyes and kept playing with the screen. Tony probably thought he was sneaky with it but she saw him put that thing on the desk counter.
"So that's why he was nervous..." Estrid mumbled to herself in realisation. She couldn't help but to look around and see if anyone heard her but they were to busy having an argument about Loki and some math things she assumed. Then her eyes turned to the black dressed man walking in to them. Is that a pirate? She thought. He definitely looked like one at least, he was fully black dressed and had an eye patch. He looked like the pirates from her children books at Asgard. Thor used to do this really sweet thing where he went down to earth and bought a book as a gift for Estrid, she was always so happy about it.
Finally poked Thor on Estrid and said "let's go somewhere else." And dragged her up from the chair to make her follow him through the door. He guided her to a little room without windows. She slowly put her foot in there and spun around the room a little as she looked up at the ceiling.
"Stay in here and let us heroes to the work, okay?" Thor said while he showed her to the bed and helped her sit down. She didn't wanna be locked up her. She wanted to help and fight, her powers could help so many if he would just let her and stop bragging about how powerful she is.
"What no?! Are u kidding.. I wanna help." She exclaimed standing up quickly. Thor gently followed her actions and stood up. He looked down at her with an concerning look, one she didn't like to see. It made her feel bad knowing her dad was worried about her, she didn't wanna be something to pull his happiness away just because he had to worry about her. No, she wanted to be strong, she wanted him to actually believe she could handle it herself. She didn't even have time to talk back before he already had gone outside the room and locked her inside. His last words before he left was "stay safe in there and don't go anywhere." He chuckled a little bit over his dry joke with his finger pointing at her as she saw him go away.
She was so bored, minutes went by and she had nothing to do. She just kept walking around the room in circles, he didn't even leave a game or a book or just something to do. She jumped on the the bed and sighed. Suddenly she got this overwhelming feeling something bad was gonna happen, that something was here. She started to panic.
"It's okay... just get out of here and warn dad... u can do this." She convinced herself in stress as she walked forward and back in the small room. She stopped in the middle and turned to the door. Both her hands lifted straight in front of her she started to focus on the door. "Now I'll carefully push it open..." she mumbled to herself as she twitched her hands and blew the door open. That was everything but careful, the door flew to the other side of the hallway and crashed in to the wall as it eventually fell to the floor. Estrid stood there a moment in silence to take in the bullshit she had just done. She could still hear the scrambling sound from the door echoing in the corridors. "Whoopsie.." she said as she made a lil skip and walked after Thor.
"Dad! Dad!" She yelled as she came sprinting in to the room, she made a quick stop when she saw that they where arguing. There was no time for this, her feeling was stronger now and the panic was worse. They just kept arguing and yelling at each other. "STOP!" Estrid screamed. She even used her powers to make it so that they heard it in their minds. No thoughts, only her scream. They all turned to her in surprise to be honest some looked more pissed than worried. "Something bad is about to happen! Okay... dad..." She said as her hand went up the her stomach. That worrying feeling was really bad now and before the avengers could even have a reaction to what Estrid had just said something hits the aircraft and explodes. She gets thrown through the room and lets out a big gasp for air when her back hit the wall. It didn't stop there she just closed her eyes as she felt like she was put in a huge washing machine with sharp rocks in it. Then she hit something really hard and it all just faded away, everything went black as she passed out.
