"You're still mad at me, aren't you" Daniel sighed as he asked. He slid into the Passenger's seat, his knee buckled up against the glove compartment.

"Fine then. At least I don't have to hear your voice throughout the day". Daniel muttered Rolling his eyes.

Dora was the first to wake up. She was surprised to find herself in the embrace of a man

Once she ran to her room, she fell against her bed, breathing hard. On realizing what she had done, she grabbed a couple of expensive perfumes on her desser table and threw them across the room before burying her face In the pillow and screaming into it.

"You're here on time" Daniel sarcastically remarked when Barton slid into the driver's seat and buckled his seat belt.

Daniel followed suit before returning his gaze on him.

"Where did you sleep? In the forest?!"

Barton yawned rubbing the back of his neck as he pushed the key inside the ignition and expertly moving the gear shift before veering out of the compound.

"A forest would have been better". Barton sighed yawning.

Daniel nudged him.

"You old fart. You didn't actually do it in the pool , did you?"

"I don't know what really happened last night Cuz. " His eyes narrowed as he forced himself to focus on the road. "One minute I was on my way to the pool and then I bumped into this green eyed Tasmanian goddess and just like that, we made out and found ourselves in the …uh..supply closet"

"Seriously??" Daniel was amused. But he paused for a moment trying to remember how many girls had green eyes. There were many. Resisting the urge to ask him for more details about her, he just said.

"You should let me drive. I won't want to die before actually seeing Dark Risers's again".

"This is my baby" Barton sleepily implied, patting the dashboard. "There is no way I'm trusting it in your hands".

Daniel scoffed and leaned back.

"Well, since I'm going to be Alpha, I get ownership of all my late dad's car".

"You still need to learn how to ACTUALLY drive, right?".

"Gamma Nathan can teach me" Daniel chipped in.

"Speaking of Gammas" Barton said earning him a glance from Daniel. "Once you become Alpha, you get the rights to choose a Beta and a Gamma before you can make any other rules in the mansion".

"Hmmmm. Can't I just appoint someone to do that".

"You'll just appoint your officials who'll in turn handle some matters for you in the future which you wouldn't like to do".

"Um…okay" Daniel blinked lazily. "I get to appoint anyone right?".

"Yeah. Anyone man".

Daniel stared out his window thoughtfully while nodding.

For a moment, Barton glanced at him before focusing on the track before him.

He smiled.

"You'll do just great. No sweat okay?".

Daniel turned, surprised.

He didn't expect his words at all.

He managed a smile.

"Sure thing. T..thanks"
