They kept him and named him Aya, and thought since they didn't have a girl he would be their daughter instead, when they was released from the hospital to go home, Aya had been taken out of the clothes given to them by the nurses and was switched into a girls outfit, this is when his life had turned upside down. he came from a small town in Ohio called "Yellow Springs" Growing up he had always felt resentment to the way he was treated by his parents, by the time Aya turned 8 years old He had discovered that he wasn't being raised properly"
CHAPTER ONE - ENDLESS SNOW -
Aya lived a normal leading life until nearing his 8th birthday, it had been one month before his birthday when things had started to go south.
He questioned why he couldn't go to a public school like other kids of his age to make friends and why he wasn't allowed outside of the backyard. and if guest was over he was to always act with utmost elegance and manners. Although he had been told multiple excuses why he shouldn't want to go to such places or leave the comfort of his home and that the guest was really important people and any kind of disrespect wouldn't be a good thing for his future, but he didn't care much about the future he wanted to play and have fun, to have many friends and experience things that the other children experience.
"I wonder what it would be like to go to a school filled with others, I promise I'll behave won't you please let me go?" Using puppy-dog eyes he asked his mother
"Oh dear, Aya what had I told you before? you mustn't ask again. Dear your so beautiful and caring but not everyone is, What if you go and some bully cuts your hair? or you get pushed over while walking? there is so much that could happen and besides... I thought you liked staying home with us?" His mother explains. as she slowly brushes through his long black hair with a gentle smile. Aya had gently smiled then proceeded to run off to his room shutting the door lightly he looks at the shelf with dolls on it. "I bet if you dollies was real you would be my friends right?" He whispered softly underneath his breath.
"If I can't have real friends then I'll make them! But... How?" He walks over to his bed and flops onto his stomach looking across the room to the standing mirror seeing himself in the reflection. "Can you even "make" a friend?" He thinks to himself.
As he closes his eyes he begins to drift to sleep, as he slept he would dream of ways to create friends. It wouldn't be simple he thought to himself, however only when he had
awoke did it occur to him that it might be easier then he thought previously if he had inspiration. Then he may have been able to make his wish come true nobody would be able to tell him, he couldn't see his "Friends" because nobody would have to know of their existence. Or so he thought, of course he would always want a real friend but after he dreamt of using his imagination to make them, he thought it wouldn't hurt to try and see how well it goes. After all he wanted was someone whom would speak to him and spend time with. He had gotten rather bored of being an only child with nobody other than his parents to spend time with.
But there was still a issue when it came down to how he should consider his friends to be like, after all he had never had friends so knowing what to find in a friend would be challenging.
Aya would contemplate for an hour just on what kind of personality his friend would have, He didn't care much about what gender his friend would be he just wanted someone he could talk to and spend time with.
"Hmm, what should I call my new friend?" he thought before he heard his mother on the phone, hearing what sounded like "Nate" he snapped his fingers and excitedly yelled "Got it! I'll call him Nate!" although Aya stopped and thought "But a name isn't enough he should have a story so that he has more of a character"
Aya thought for a long time on what he should put down to give his friend more life, until his mother knocks on the door before opening it. "Dear dinner is ready, come and eat." She looks over before walking behind him looking down over onto the desk asking curiously "Nate? Who is Nate? you're too young to think of boys right now sweetie." Aya sighed softly "What? No! Nate is my friend, also... What is that even supposed to mean ? too young to be thinking about boys....?" She avoided answering the question as normal, and laughed softly while looking around the room most likely looking for "Nate" Aya sighs before turning towards the door, "Well mom you said dinner was ready correct? what did you make?" trying to switch her attention to something else.
