"Her body just like, lifted up into the air and, uh .." As we listened to Eddie tell the story, faint noises from the water prickled in the air. His face was dimmed but water ripples reflected off of his crouching body.

"And she just like hung there. In the air." His face was frozen, as if he was reliving the moment again and again.

"And her bones uh.." He whimpered, his voice shook and he closed his eyes tightly. I knew that he hated explaining the tragedy, I couldn't even say anything myself.

"Her bones started to snap." He raised his tone, I watched his bottom lip tremble.

"Her eyes man. It.. It was like there was something like inside her head, pulling." I couldn't look at the devastated boy anymore so I turned my head away from him. His voice cracked with grief.

"I... I didn't know what to do, so I..." I turned head my back to Eddie and found that he was staring at me. "So I took Y/n and we.. we ran away.." He sat there, completely frozen.

"We left her there." I added in flatly. Though a part of me was holding in an ocean of tears, now I couldn't be vulnerable especially when Eddie is in so much stress. The group looked over at me, ripping there attention away from Eddie. They kept their silence but seemed to understand the horrific sight we saw.

Eddie scoffed as he thought for a moment. "You all think we're crazy, right?"

"No. We don't think you're crazy." Dustin calmly told him.

"Don't bullshit me man! I know how this sounds." Eddie rubbed his nose bridge with his fingers.

"We're not bullshitting you." Max piped in. I noticed that her energy was flat. She looked tired, her eyes  darkened. Though she wasn't there with me and Eddie when Chrissy was killed. She seemed to be just as dead as we felt. It was concerning..

"We believe you guys." Robins voice snapped me out of my thoughts, she met my eyes and sort of flashed me a, what I assume, half-smile.

Eddie exhaled in disbelief. I wasn't feeling too confident either. I mean I know there is no way in hell anyone could ever believe us.

"Look. What I'm about to tell you two might be a little... difficult to take." I perked up and blinked at Dustin. What was he going to say? What does he know? Eddie as well drifted his attention to Dustin. All eyes on him.

"Okay.." Dustin continued to speak when Eddie nodded.

"You know how people say Hawkins is... cursed. They're not.. way off." The mood had changed. Darkness had taken over the light of atmosphere. I almost shivered at Dustin's serious intensity.

"There's another world... a world hidden beneath Hawkins. Sometimes it bleeds into ours."

"Like ghosts and shit?" Eddie mumbled. I noticed Max shift her weight and shake her head.

"There are some things.. worse than ghosts." She answered.

"These monsters from this other world. We thought they were gone. But they've come back before." Dustin finished.

"But that's why we needed to find you." Eddie stared at the boy, not a single emotion tearing through his face. Unlike him, I felt panic rising up my body.

"If they're back again, we need to know." Max took a glance at me, she looked dead still with no emotions. Was I the only one who was completely shocked.

"That night. Did you see anything?" Robin once again pitched in. "Dark particles maybe?" Max inquired.

"No.." I managed to mutter. Max and Robin took a swift look at each other.
