Chapter 7: Pet training, meeting Milo, and Robin's secret

The next day, Rodney and Robin left the house with Rita for football practice while Roddy was taking Rachel and Dubbsy to Puss' house. "Okay, Rachel, pet training starts around the time your brother gets done with practice. So Dubbsy can go play with his friends for a little bit until we arrive there. If you want, you can hang out with your dad in the music room, too." Rita said.

"Okay, Mum." Rachel said.

"I hear RJ, Heather, and Mittens will be there with Nikki and Rocco, practicing their song for Halloween night, too." Roddy said.

"Sweet!"

"Alright, we'll meet you there later around noon. Have fun on your first day, coach."

"Thank you, I will. See you all later." Rita said, kissing her husband goodbye before hugging her daughter goodbye.

"Bye, Mum, and we'll see you later at Dubbsy's training, Rodney." Rachel said, hugging her brother.

"See you there, Ray." Rodney said.

Once Roddy, Rachel, and Dubbsy left, Robin got off the phone before turning to his best friend. "Well, Aunt Hannah's still busy, but the guy's transplant was a success last night. Although, she's got a lot of paperwork to work on at the moment. So she won't get off until a little later in the afternoon, but the good news is Doc's gonna be there to watch me practice." He said.

"Okay, and Zoey said her mum will be at work today. So her Nana's taking her to practice." Rodney said.

"Her Aunt Coco's not coming?"

"She's going out with Brennan tonight. He told me that they've been planning it for a week now."

"Wow, imagine your mum's cousin, marrying someone with superpowers. That would be so cool." Robin said.

"It would be cool, but we also don't wanna have more villains, like The Toad and Somnambula, disrupt our family. Besides, Chelsie's been dating Randy for three years and his sister's dating one of The Toad's former henchmen, Whitey. At least he's been treating her nicely for at least nine years or so." Rodney said.

"The same way Randy's been treating Chelsie."

"Oh, yeah."

"Well, I'm okay with Zoey's Aunt Coco going out with Brennan as long as she treats him right." Rita said.

"I'm sure she does, Mum. Coco's a really cool gal." Rodney said.

"I know she is, but still. It's like the first time Chelsie started seeing Randy all over, again before I realized he wasn't too bad. He's been so good to her. Especially since I heard she's still been feeling sick this whole week."

"Oh, no, is she okay?" Rodney asked, looking worried.

"Well, so far all I heard from either Randy or Brennan is that she's been resting a lot, not wanting to do anything, but throw up." Rita said.

"You know, that does explain why Randy was looking uneased yesterday during music class." Robin said.

"Yeah, but he still managed to teach us throughout the day." Rodney said.

"That is true. I tried to ask him if he was alright after class and he told me he was; that it shouldn't be something for me to worry about right now, although he did thank me for asking."

"Maybe it's something to do with Chelsie. I really hope she's alright."

"I'm sure she'll make it, boys. Don't worry. You know Chelsie. She always gets back up when something brings her down." Rita said.

"Yeah, I know, but still. I hope she feels better soon." Rodney said.

"I hope so, too, Rodney, but Randy's been taking good care of her. So we'll worry about that later, alright?"
