Danny and Liz were up on the balcony, still talking. "Boy, you got me fucked up on this alcohol!" She explains to Danny, laughing his head off. "Yeah, this ain't shit." He says, puffing his chest out, "I'm a MAN, I can handle my beer!!" Liz laughs, putting her hand on his chest. "You're funny, and so cute!" That made Danny laugh "No you don't say! Pretty girl calling me the cute one. How quaint." Both begin to laugh. "Well hot stuff, wanna grab us some more drinks? And not beer, get something that tastes good." She says to Danny. Danny nods and walks back upstairs to grab some more drinks.
Liz's phone buzzed, and she pulled it up. Rachel had texted her. [Hey Girlie, Jackson is actually the owner of this house! I'm in his room right now, I'm about to have the night of my life!] *Jackson huh, that's the guy she's been so into, yet girlie didn't know her name* she thinks. Liz responds with [OMG that's crazy! Dan and I are out on the balcony, he's super hot!] and closes her phone. Evan approached Liz, followed by Keller. "Oh hey Evan? Who's the dude?" She inquires. "This is Keller, one of Danny's friends," he says, "it's such a fun night girly." They all laughed, as Danny returns. "Hey Keller, who's the guy?" Danny says as they all promptly laugh at him. He shrugged, leans in to Liz, kisses her and says, "brought the lucky girl a drink." Evan gets a smirk on his face, and watches how Liz takes the drink from Danny. "So Keller, how did you meet Danny?" Evan questioned Keller. "We met while in the Army, we deployed together in 2023," Keller explains. "Oh so now we have 2 soldiers on our hands,"Liz interrupts," Guess they're starting to flood our town!" They all laugh, and Danny responds, "No not really. Joe, our other friend, was from here. He offered to let us stay with him while we get on our feet. Or rather, just me, Keller is a cop in the city." They all turn to Keller. "You're not gonna arrest any of us, right?" Liz says, almost sarcastically. "Don't break the law and I won't!" Exclaims Keller, prompting a chuckle from everyone.
They continue their cheerful conversation, which Liz making flirty comments towards Danny and vise versa. Out of no where, both Liz and Evan get a text. "Both y'all got a text at the same time," Danny continues," that's strange. Might wanna check it." Liz pulls up her phone and says aloud, "Oh it's Rachel. Wonder what she wants." [Hey guys, not feeling well. Mind coming and getting me?] Liz looked in shock, and replies [Yes girl sure, where are you?] Evan looked up from his phone, worry also flooded his face. "Well I'm no detective like Keller here," Danny says,"But something is horribly wrong." Liz looked at Danny and said, "Rachel said she doesn't feel good. We need to find her." Danny, looking concerned, replies, "Yeah, let's go find her." They all begin walking the mansion trying to find this room.
About 30 minutes later, the group finds a door they haven't opened yet. They'd been in about 20 different rooms, looking for Rachel, but had no luck yet. Not this room though. Danny, Liz, and Joe enter. They look to their left, and see Jackson on the bed, only thing he's wearing is his shirt. "Oh you're so pretty, shame I had to do it this way!" He explains as the group sees him thrusting his hips back and forward. "HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Screams Liz. Jackson jumped and rolled over the side of the bed. "Yo we're kinda in the middle of something, get lost assholes!" Screams Jackson. Danny then noticed Rachel was unconscious, laying on the bed. "You sick son of a bitch, you drugged her!" Danny screamed as he walked toward the bed. "Nah man, she was awake when we started but passed out mid sex. My dick put her in acoma." He blurts back at Danny. Liz rushes to the bed to try and wake Rachel, but it was no use.
Danny turns the corner to see Jackson fumbling to put his boxers back on."I'm gonna kill you, you fucking scumbag." Roared Danny. Jackson got to his feet, and took a swing at Danny. He instantly dodged the fist. Danny charged at Jackson, grabbed him, then threw him over his head across the room. Liz was shocked about how angry Danny was, I mean he'd just met Rachel that night. Didn't matter, because then Danny jumped onto Jackson, and started wailing his head with punches and elbows. It took Liz and Evan both to pull Danny off, while Keller was calling the police.
Once Liz and Evan pulled Danny off Jackson, he looked at them and said,"Thanks. I'm gonna get some water. Watch over her please. If that scumbag tried getting up, yell for me." His tone was serious, almost scary to Liz. "You got it man, I'll watch over our girl."'piped up Evan, giving a nod to Danny. Liz followed him into the living room. Everyone had been alerted the cops were on their way, so mostly everyone ditched. Danny walked up to the bar and said, "hey man, where's the restroom?" The bartender pointed at a door, and he went in. Liz decided to follow him in. "Danny!" Liz shouted, "Thank you for beating the piss out of that dude!" She smiled, about to cry, when she realized Danny was crying. "Hey you okay," she started, "you don't got any reason to cry." She leaned down to Danny, who now had is head in his lap against the wall. "I thought I was going to kill him," he said, barley audible through his tears/lap,"I promised I'd never do that again, and I almost went there." Shocked by him saying this, Liz laid next to him and held him while he cried. *He's killed before?* she thought *Had to have been while he was in the army or something*.
Police arrived, shortly after them EMS. Police interrogated everyone in the room. Danny, Liz, Evan, and Keller's stories all lined up. "You know son, the family decided to drop charges on you for hurting their kid," said the officer to Danny. "They could've easily put you behind bars." "I was defending that girl who couldn't defend himself," Danny barked back, "I would've been fine." Officer shrugs and walks off, and that's when Danny sees Rachel is awake.
Danny decided to walk up to her, sitting on the outside of the ambulance back door. He walked up."Hey Rachel. Are you doing okay? As okay as you can be?" He said. She looked up at him in disgust. "What did you do to him?" She said to him. "I did what I had to do to protect you. The kid ain't dead, but he's in the ER." She looked at him, almost in anger. "Thank you, but you went too far." To Danny, it sounded like hatred for him. He decided he wasn't gonna waste anymore breath on it. He turned to walked away, as he left, he says over his should, "Hey Liz call me sometime! I had fun tonight!" And promptly walks off to find Keller and Joe standing by some cops. "Hey, you guys ready to head home?" Danny says as he walks up. "Yeah man, I quit drinking hours ago so I'll drive." Says Joe. The 3 began walking towards Joe's F250, when Liz suddenly runs up to Danny.
"Dan, thank you. Rachel is shook up, she'll come around. Tomorrow night, dinner. I'll text you the information." Liz said, with a smile on her face. She kissed Danny on cheek and ran back. "Damn. Guess you got a date tomorrow." Says Keller, chuckling, "That makes two of us." Joe and Danny turned and looked shocked at him. "WITH WHO?" They yelled together. "Evan," Said Keller. They all laughed and hopped into the truck and took off.
