Abel's POV

"Cara are you done yet?" I asked anxiously as I watched Cara hastily set the dishes on the dinning table while Carin lit up the candles beside them.

We had spent the entire evening making dinner and had been working on setting them down on the dinning table which wasn't an easy job cause there were very many dishes.

Celine will be back soon from work and I wanted everything to be ready and perfect before she gets back.

"Almost done" Cara said as she set the last dish and pushed the tray to the side "perfect" she beamed at her work in satisfaction.

"This is beyond boring" Carin said in a dry tone as she lit up the last candle "can't you just take her to the beach or something? Why put us through this?"

"Carin! How can you say that. This is absolutely perfect! Celine is going to love it" Cara directed her last sentence at me to assure me.

I smiled thankfully but Carin spoke up before I could say anything "I don't think so Cara. I mean I will certainly punch any guy who would do something so cliche like this for me."

Okay that was harsh.

Carin noticed the glare her sister was throwing at her and rolled her eyes. "I'm just saying that I could be doing much better things right now than helping out with this romantic showcase"

"Its alright, I didn't work you guys out for nothing" I pulled out my credit card from my wallet "here, you guys can leave the house for a while and buy yourself whatever you want"

Carin snatched it from me with a wide smile. "now we're talking Abel. Celine is definitely going to love this"

Cara slapped her at the back of the head glaring into her eyes "we didn't do this to take anything from him" she turn to me "you don't have to pay us for helping you and Celine. We wanted to. So I think its better you have this back"

"Speak for yourself" Carin snap and race out of the dinning hall with the credit card still in hand.

"Get back here you brat! Give that back!" Cara raced to catch up with her and I could hear Carin's faint laughter and Cara's continuous yelling until it finally fades away.

I chuckled a bit at that. I was slowly getting used to them and their everyday fights. Those two just can't go a day without arguing.

I wonder how they aren't twins. They look so much alike but their personalities made it easy to differentiate them. While Cara was the nice and friendly one, Carin was the bad egg who didn't give a damn. I even heard from Cara that her sister isn't afraid of anyone but their mom. It was quite obvious though.

I made a few finishing touches and adjusted the collar of my blue button up shirt before glancing at my wrist watch. Celine will be here in a few seconds.

I waited with beating heart pacing anxiously around the dinning room. Will Celine like it? Will she think its lame and cliche?

I mentally cursed Carin for putting those thoughts in my head.

My nerves increased when I heard the front door open. I gulp it down and left the dinning hall to the sitting room where Celine was just coming in.

I took a moment to admire my beautiful wife. She was dressed in black workout jacket and leggings. Her blond hair was put in a pony tail and I couldn't deny just how beautiful she really is at this moment. I kept beating myself up for years for not realizing this earlier.

She glance up at me and I could feel my heart beat pick up when her blue eyes met my brown ones. She smiled and that didn't help my racing heart.

"Hi" she said walking closer to me and pulling me down for a short kiss. "I didn't expect to find you home at this time"
