"Stop frowning, dear." My mom said as she continued to braid my hair. I was frowning since she entered my room and made me dress up.

"I already told you na ayoko, so please don't expect me to smile from ear to ear." I replied. It's not that I don't have my respect for my mom with me. It's just that feeling ko, hindi nila nire-respeto ang gusto ko sa buhay. Para bang wala silang pakialam sa nararamdaman ko. Basta masunod lang ang gusto nila, okay na.

"Aren't you happy for your brother? He's going to be the president of our company after the retirement of your father. Hindi ka ba proud?"

"Of course I am," I timidly said. "But do I really have to be there? I mean, wala naman akong gagawin 'dun. Uupo lang ako hanggang sa matapos ang party at wala na. Dekorasyon lang ako sa party n'yo,"

She tied the end of my hair and looked at me in the mirror. "Come on, Elle. You are supposed to be the one who's going to be the president of the company 'pag wala na kami since ikaw ang panganay. But because ayaw mo, your brother took over. Kahit ba moral support, hindi mo kayang ibigay sa taong nagsakripisyo ng mga pangarap niya para sa'yo?"

Mom went out of my room. Tinamaan naman ako ng matinding guilt sa sinabi niya. She's right. My brother sacrificed just for me. Gusto niyang mag-Architecture pero dahil sa'kin, he was forced to study Business Administration.

So with a half-real smile, I went to the venue kung saan gaganapin ang party. Luckily, I found a seat near the corner of the room where I can finally be alone.

Everyone was wearing the most fake smile they can give. Alam ko kasi sanay na ako sa mga taong katulad nila. Yung nakikipagkaibigan lang para lumago ang negosyo nila? Ganun sila.

Mom and Dad was busy talking to the guests while my brother was with them which seemed to be quiet. I pity him for he won't be able to do the things he like. But that's business, anyway.

I was looking around, hoping to find someone familiar. Until someone entering the venue caught my eye. I can't see his face, nor the clothes he's wearing. He appeared just like a silhouette in my eyes.

I followed him with my eyes, and he seemed to notice that I am staring at him kaya naman naglakad siya papunta sa direksyon kung nasaan ako nakaupo. Napaayos naman ako ng upo.

"Hi," he said as he sat down infront of me.

"H-hi," why the heck am I stuttering?!

"Austin,"

"Eleanor. Eleanor Saavedra," inilahad ko yung right hand ko para makipag-shake hands sakan'ya but to my surprise, instead of shaking his hands with me, he brought my hand to his lips and he kissed my hand. There became a riot inside my tummy. Is this what they call, butterflies? I felt like, the god of love released his arrow and pricked me.

"Elly, are you sure you're alright?" Dad asked. Nasa kotse na kami ngayon at pauwi na. I'm sure as hell na namumula ako, and maybe that's the reason why they're asking kung okay lang ako nang paulit-ulit.

"Yes I am, Dad."

Hanggang pag-uwi namin, hindi parin nawawala ang pamumula ng mukha ko. I even researched kung pa'no pipigilan ang pagb-blush but it seems that my case is a hopeless one.

Before he bid goodbye, hinatid ko siya papunta sa exit door. Before he grabbed a taxi, he held me close and kissed my cheek. That's the reason why I'm blushing like a freak.

I drank the milk that the maids prepared for me. Kanina pa ako inom ng inom ng gatas, pero hindi ko alam kung bakit hanggang ngayon, hindi parin ako makatulog. It's already 2 am for whoever's sake.

I told my brother about the infatuation that I felt towards Austin. He has nothing against it and he even teased me for being like the others who fall for boys at first sight. But after teasing me, he became serious and asked me kung single pa ba si Austin o walang nililigawan. And that made me stay up this late.

What if meron na palang laman ang puso niya tapos ito ako, still drowned by the thoughts of him. What if may nililigawan siya, may girlfriend, or worst, baka kasal na siya! I can't judge him kung kasal na nga siya. It's normal for people in the business world to marry someone kahit na under-age ka pa.

Bumaba ako sa kama ko and nagpunta ako sa living room ng bahay namin, trying to keep myself busy. I tried to bake, pero nasunugan lang din naman ako. I was distracted. And I kept on looking at the door from time to time, hoping na may isang Austin na kakatok sa pintuan ng bahay namin.

Days and weeks have passed but I'm not yet over that Austin guy. I tried to search him, but God. Ang daming Austin sa mundo! At ngayon ko lang din na-realize na, first name lang ang alam ko sakan'ya.

And today, today is my first day as an employee of my brother. Pumasok na ako sa kompanya namin, hoping to find Austin there. Tama ang kapatid ko, he might be an investor of our company or he might also be an employee there. That's why eto ako ngayon, nagt-trabaho sa kompanya namin.

Totoo ngang love makes us do things we never imagined ourselves doing. Working in our family business is something that I didn't expect me to do. Ayaw na ayaw ko dito. But then, nandito parin ako, working in our family business because I'm hoping to see him here.

What I feel towards Austin is something that made me experience a riot caused by the butterflies inside my stomach. Talking to him made me feel like I'm in Cloud Nine. Meeting him proved me that loving people at first sight really is possible.

Nararamdaman niya kaya ang nararamdaman ko? Sana, oo. Kasi ako, I'm certain that I already fell for him-that I fell for him sa unang beses na nakita ko siya.

Please don't be in love with someone else, Austin.
