The Gossip [5]

Jenner's POV

Last night at the party was terrible. Thankfully I wasn't drunk. Jayden brought me back to my house and my mom was so mad at me for coming very late at night. When. It was time to get ready for school.

I heard the alarm clock. The most annoying sounds on earth.

For the past 2 weeks now my mom finds her phone more interesting. She was calling someone on the phone this morning while I was about to go out and I was guessing it's one of her workers.

"Bye mom"
She waved her hand at me as a reply cuz she's on a phone call.

I was walking down the hallway of our school towards my class, some students were staring at me.

I never cared to realize why the were staring at me. All I did was minding my business. The should mind theirs too.

On my way to my class's front door, I bumped into someone.

"Oh am so-" I realized who it was and decided to hold my apology.

"Um.. hey Jenner"

I shot him a glare. "I'm so sorry for lying to you"

"Jayden.... Get out of my way" I said trying to control my temper.

"Look. Jenner I promise It happen again " I could see how sincere he looks while apologizing.

I let out a sigh.
"Fine"

A smile appeared on his face. Men he looks so good.

But not as good as Jace.

Shut the fuck up brain.

Before I knew what was happening, he hugged me and pecked my cheeks. Smiling at me. I can't help but blush.

"Jayden... I have to go to class" I said changing the subject.

"Before you do, I want to tell you something" he says looking me in the eyes and I can tell that he's being serious right now.

"What is it?" I furrowed my eyebrows curiously.

"Jenner..." He rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

The hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I never see that coming.
I was shocked. Okay how many times have I gotten shocked since the first day these three guys appeared in school. Hope it won't lead to coma?

He helps me do my assignment. He's smart, kinda funny, handsome, tall and a gent.

"Yes" I uttered smiling.

He hugged me. I can perceive his scent. He smells so good.

"I'll see you after school babe" he said and pecked my lips one more time and was about to leave.

"Wait" he stopped when he heard me.

"Can we make it official?"

He tried to process what I said.
"No. Not now"

"Oh okay" I smiled.

"Will you help me with maths later?"

"Course"

I leaned forward to peck him.

"Oh! Hey Miss Jenner" I almost tripped.

"Um hey Diana"

"How was last night?"
Diana asked with a curious smile on her face. I notice a scowl on Jayden's face. What was that for?

"Gotta go" Jayden says and winked at me. I think Diana saw it. Oh God.

Wait a sec. She's my best friend and best friends don't hide anything secrets from each other. Right?

"Trust me. You don't need to know"

She playfully rolled her eyes.
"Oh please. Did something happen between you and... You know" she said wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"Nothing happened. Tell me more about your date"

"My date? Well we shouldn't talk about how my date went while standing. let's go to our seats"

We both got into the class and all eyes was on me like the have never seen me before. I wonder why.

And this isn't just an ordinary look. It's a look that says 'how dare you' mostly from the girls.

I can see Jace who was surrounded by girls. The girls were telling him something and I can tell that he's kinda bored from their conversation.

He turned to his right and saw me. Our eyes locked as we begin to stare at each other. Some of the girls noticed that he was staring at me. Cortney saw me as well and smirked. She was standing at the back of Jace and she seductively massaged Jace's shoulder with a smirk on her face and looking at me at the same time to see my reaction.

I remembered the argument I had with Jace last night. I think I was a little bit too rude to him. I should probably apologize.

"How long have you been staring?" Diana asked with a confused look on her face. I just realized that I was standing here the whole time while Diana was on her seat waiting for me to talk.

"Oops. So sorry. Now tell me about your date" I said, sitting down on a chair next to Diana.

"My date went well. The guy is cute. His name is Dave" she said, smiling to her thoughts.

"Wait. You mean Dave Mitchell our classmate?"

"Yeah"

"Good. I'm so happy for you"

Diana gave me a confused look.

"What?" I asked

"You're never interested in anything that concerns relationships" she folds her arms.

"People change Diana. Read a book" I rolled my eyes playfully.

With that, the bell rings for history class.

"See you later" I said to Diana. Carrying some of my books, heading to history class.

The rest of the day went well as I got home. I sat on the sofa dropping my bag pack next to me.

"Mom" I yelled.

She should be at home by now.

"Mom" I stand up and take an apple on the fridge.

I saw a piece of paper that was sticked to the fridge.

Jenner baby am so sorry for not telling you before leaving you. I have some important business to catch up with. I don't know exactly when I'll be back home but please stay strong.
