I was battered. Peppered. Smashed. Whatever word you wanted to use to describe fucked up, I was it. I could barely see straight, my body swaying clumsily and my hair sticking to me with sweat.
"I'm gonna go for a smoke." I told the girls who I was currently dancing with. Freya pouted and kissed my cheek as a goodbye. I navigated my way to the smoking area with minimal staggering surprisingly and noticed no one was outside with me. I sparked a cigarette and enjoyed the smoke entering my lungs. It felt great to be back out with this group again, I had missed it more then I had realised. It was like a mini girls night aswell because the majority of my time was spent dancing with Talia, Ellie, Freya and Gee.
"Got a snout?" Ethan made me jump, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. I glared at him but passed him a cigarette and let him borrow my clipper. He nodded his head at me as a thank you. I had noticed Ethan never smoked unless drunk or drinking.
"Having fun?" He asked me, sitting down at the bench I was stood in front of.
"Yeah actually, I've missed you lot." I grinned, messing up his hair and letting out a cackle as he pushed my hand away.
"I was worried you wouldn't come cause of Katie to be honest." He quirked an eyebrow at me.
"I won't lie, I don't like her. But it's not for the reasons you're thinking." Just at this point, Katie and Harry stumbled into the smoking area and her eyes were set on me. It was like that cringe movie scene where they're badmouthing a character or killer and they're right behind them.
"What did you just say?" She seethed, stomping up to me. She was taller then me but not by much, not that it was hard to be. I shrugged before talking.
"I said I don't like you but not for the reasons that everyone thinks." I bluntly responded, something that often got me in trouble. I had a hard time with being overly honest when drunk.
"Come on Lizzy." Harry muttered, staring at his shoes. I scoffed at his words. He wants to ignore me for this long just to break the silence with something as weak as that?
"You don't like me because you want Harry. But listen here-" She put her finger in my face and I slapped it away.
"No you listen. I don't know you well but you've been nothing but a cunt to me. I don't want your boyfriend, okay? I don't like you because you're rude and literally kicked me to make me drop that champagne bottle. You embarrassed me at my place of work all because you think I want to shag Harry!" I ranted, letting it all off of my chest.
"I know you like him, little whores like you-" SLAP. As soon as I heard the word whore I saw red. I let my hand connect to her cheek and her head whipped to the side.
"What the fuck Elizabeth!" Harry yelled, stepping forward. Just as he went to move Katie away, she pushed him back and grabbed ahold of my hair. I hissed at the pain as she pulled me away from both boys. I dropped my cigarette and pushed her over so we both went onto the floor. I was on top of her and punched her square in the face, her nose squirted blood immediately. She latched onto my hair again and pulled my head down to headbutt me. Now we were both bleeding.
"You're a slag!" She screeched as she tried slapping me in the face. I hit her in the face again.
"You're an insecure little bitch!" I shouted back with a grunt as she pushed me off of her. I went to go for her again but was held back by strong arms. I watched as Harry pulled her away too.
"Go near my boyfriend again and watch what happens!" She yelled at me, trying to fight against Harry. A group had formed to watch like we were two schoolgirls fighting during lunchtime.
