"Emery please Eddie will kill us if we don't find a sub for tonight's campaign"

"Dustin you know I love you but I can't bail on another game coach will be pissed"

"Come on Emery why do you cheer anyway we never win"

"Maybe tonight will be different and plus you should be there to support Lucas"

"We will do anything you want, give you anything" Mike said

I sigh "did yall already ask everyone else already?"

"Yes" they both say

"Ok I will do it but if i get kicked off the cheer team I'm going to kill both of you and i want one of those shirts" I said pointing at Dustin's shirt that he always wore the days that they played D&D

"Ok deal" Dustin said

"I want it before tonight"

They ran off back to their lunch table probably to tell Eddie that they found a sub for tonight's game

"Hey Emery," Chrissy said sitting beside me.

Chrissy has been my best friend for as long as I can remember.

"You're drooling again" she said

"Am not"

"What do you see in Eddie anyway?"

"Chrissy i tell you all the time he's funny and sweet"

I've had a crush on Eddie since middle school

"I still wonder how your brother hasn't figured it out. You're always staring at Eddie."

"Dustin is the most clueless person I have ever met"

"But as long as you're into band or science...or parties or a game where you throw balls into laundry baskets." Eddie yelled standing on his lunch table

"You want something freak?" Jason yelled

"I don't know why your still with him chris he's a dick" I said getting up to throw my trash

"I know but I don't want him to get mad at me" she said following me

"Chrissy if he ever tries anything I will beat his ass"

"I know"

Eddie was standing in the middle of the aisle he turned and looked at me and Chrissy

"Oh sorry sweetheart" He said, moving back and bowing.

The rest of the day was boring. My last period was a free period so I went to visit Steve. Him and Robin were also my best friends.

"Hi Steve" I said jumping up to sit on the counter

"Hey em"

"Busy day?"

"Not really but I do have a date tonight"

"Finally over Nancy now? She doesn't deserve you I have been telling you for years"

"I've been over Nancy"

"Sure you have Harrington"

"And at least I have a date you have been in love with Munson since middle school you turned down every guy for him and you still don't talk to him"

"Well Harrington for your information I'm going to play D&D with him tonight and I'll talk to him plus he called me sweetheart today"

"He probably doesn't know your real name"

"We were partners in science last year he knows my name"

"And speaking of you playing D&D when are you doing that"

"5:30, why?"

"Because it's 5:15"

"Oh shit I gotta go bye Harrington"

"Bye Henderson" He said chuckling as I sprinted out the door to my car
