CHAPTER SIXTEEN || GABRIEL

I quickly throw the car im park and Imani follows running behind me.

I pull my gun out through my pants and she gets her outs which was strapped to her leg.

"Imani, why the hell you have a gun?" I question as she cocks it.

"I gotta deal with all this Mafia shit too you know?" she says as I walk through the door.

What the hell.

My baby mama stands there with a knife to my sister throat.

"GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM HER LORI" I scream as she pulls a gun out her black ripped jeans pointing it at me.

"Give me my daughter." she slurs out and inches the knife closer to her neck.

My men are all armed and pointing at Lori, "Kill her!" I order but Gio puts his gun down.

"We can't." he quickly says tossing his head to the side. My eyes glance over to my daughter crying on the stairs. Her hand is hanging onto the rail.

"Mommy." Her voice breaks as tears stream down her eyes. But she's bot looking at Lori. She's looking at Imani.

Imani runs over to her and her heels click on the ground. "Baby" she says picking Valeria up in her arms. Lori caught on and her face turns red.

Her attention shifts to my girls and so does the gun. "you bitch!" she screams. Imani sees her and runs up the stairs and tucks Val into the crook of her neck.
The gun goes off and so does mine.

Imani and Val are out of my sight and Lori is still standing. I missed. I never miss.

My men rush her and Nia catches her breathe. Lori is picked up and taken away to the "basement".

The basement is a place I take all hostages. People that owe me money, and sometimes people to kill for fun.

"Damn it!" I throw my gun onto the ground and my hands run throught my hair.

I walk over to Nia, "You good?" I ask as she sits on a couch. "Im fine, you should've killed her years ago" she chuckles dusting off her legs.

"I'm about too," I snark walking away from her and into the basement.

I make it to the end of the wooden stairs and down the grey bricked hallway. The screams from one room mask the ones from the other and then I reach the end of the hallway.

"Leave me alone!" I hear Lori scream as one of my men kicks her. Her body is laying on the ground clenching her arm.

"You bitch!" I yell picking her up pining her against the wall. A large smirk appears on her face as she caresses my arm.

"Your still as hot as you were 10 years ago" she chokes out as I bang her against the bricks again. Her smirk then goes away and anger grows over her face.

Her lips pucker and spit comes out her mouth landing on my face. Pinning her by her throat now I wipe my face with my free hand and throw her on the concrete floor.

"I don't care what you do with her, don't kill her yet thats my job" I say storming out the room. Back on the ground floor I go into the kitchen and crack open a beer.

"Hey Gabe," Gio says going into the fridge and also getting a beer.

"You love Mani right," he asks sitting on one of the islamd stools.

I choke. Do I love her?

"Uhhh... why?" I say trying to change the subject. "Because Aliana.." he starts to say.

Aliana was Imani's best friend she told me on the plane ride back from our rescue misson. She had come back to the states with us. And her and Gio had been hanging out, flirting, fucking. There cute together. He just won't make a move.

"Do you love Aliana?" I question guzzling down the rest of the beer.

"I don't know.." he says looking around.

"Think about it" I say. I pat him on the back and start my walk upstairs.

I make it upstairs and go to check on Val. I open the door to her room and see her sleeping.

I kiss her on the forehead and put the blanket on her and walk out the room to mine.

Imani is sitting there scrolling on her phone. I take off my shirt and throw it on the floor which catches her attention.

She throws her phone to the side and I crawl up in between her legs.

I plant my lips on hers causing her to moan out a little into my mouth. I pull away and she looks at me with lust in her eyes. I tower over my body and start tugging at my belt.

"Wanna finish what we started?"
