*Porsche's Pov*

Chay woke me up this morning holding me tightly making me chuckle as I looked down at him.

"You smell weird." I heard him say this, making me confused.

"What do you mean?" I was confused.

"You smell... like a pup?" He said confused, making my eyes widen.

"Oh. Right." I said trying to keep my composure before I felt Chay look up at me.

"You're??" Was all Chay managed to say before I nodded. Chay smiled widely and hugged me before he winced in pain making panic.

"Are you okay?" I asked worriedly.

"Yeah. My stomach just hurts. It must be where those guys kicked me." He said, making me frown.

"I'm sorry you got hurt." I said before I felt myself start to tear up. "I'm your big brother and I let you get hurt." I said worried while Chay just smiled.

"P'Porsche. I'm fine." He said smiling. "I'm really OK. And I'm really happy that I'm gonna be an uncle." He said making me smile. I looked over at the clock and saw that it was 11:30 in the morning, which made me surprised.

I looked at Chay smiling before getting out of bed making him hold his head like an adorable pup making me laugh. "Stay here, I'm going to go see if someone can bring you breakfast." I said smiling before exiting the guest room and walking.

I was on my way to the kitchen before I saw Ken walk past me with red eyes. I was confused for a moment before I remembered. Big. I ran towards the infirmary and burst the doors open. I looked over around before my eyes landed on Big who was looking back at me with a lost look.

"Porsche." He asked, confused, making me get closer.

"Yeah. It's me." I said while walking closer to him. "Thank you. For protecting my brother. I don't know what I would do if I found out he was hurt." I said, making him smile and nod.

"I was just following orders. Kinn said to bring him safe and quickly which is what I did." He said, making me smile before I looked at Big.

"I saw Ken on my way here. I thought something wrong must have happened to you because he looked like he was about to cry." I said honestly, making Big frown slightly.

"He took the news worse than I did." He said, making me confused before Big looked at me again. "This morning, around Dawn I woke up with a lot of stomach pain. I thought it was because of the bullet wound so I really didn't care until it became stronger. Ken got worried when he felt my heart rate spike so he called the doctor. The doctor came and tried to figure out what was wrong and he found the reason. It turns out that I was ten weeks pregnant." Big said, making me stand there shocked as Big continued to speak. "And the bullet had torn through my uterine wall, and since we didn't know I was pregnant we didn't know to see if they were okay." He said.

"Why do you keep saying was?" I asked, making Big sigh quietly.

"The pup didn't survive the hit. They died and I had surgery this morning to remove them." He said before looking towards the back of the infirmary. "They're back there somewhere. They told Ken and I that they could cremate them to keep their ashes, or bury them." He said looking lost.

"Ken was the father?" I asked, making Big nod.

"He's my mate. We bonded after my 3rd heat with him." He said pointing at the mating mark on his scent gland that I never noticed because the uniform hid it. "He didn't take the news well. He thinks it is his fault the pup died, but we never knew there was one to begin with. He was already devastated with the news but then the doctor said that because of the damage caused by the bullet that I might not be able to carry a pup again, Ken broke down. I know he doesn't show it, but Ken always imagined us having our little litter of pups playing around or dancing or something. He felt so terrible thinking that our dreams might be destroyed. He said he needed a moment so I let him go, because I knew the news was worse for him." He said, making me confused.
