Big Mountain Music Festival is a two day music event, it is the largest outdoor festival in south east asia. It features some of Thailand's up and coming and coveted performers from country music to modern genres including pop, rock, electrica and indie. The festival is set to take over the Ocean Khao Yai, Nakhon Ratchasima with over 30,000 attendees of both local and international tourist around the world.
The line up for this years event is massive, artist includes popular 5 members pop rock band The Solace who have recently won Artist of the year at the Asian Music Awards. The band will surely capture the heart of every music goer who want to experience the biggest outdoor music festival in the region.
Gulf was reading the news about the music festival that will be held in Khao Yai. The festival will take place in his hometown and everyone is so excited, it was the talked of the town and his friends was looking forward to see the band Solace. Speaking of Solace, eversince his two bestfriends introduce the band to him he had been searching and reading non stop about the bands information, there music, discography, scandals and many others. Gulf found a liking to the frontman Mew Hammond, I mean who wouldn't? he had this amazing voice and a to die for looks and lets not talk about how hot and sexy his body is. Gulf frowned at the thought of him stanning the vocalist, I mean this is all new to him. he is curious though to see them in person.
Gulf stood up to pick his planner, he checked on his schedule and discovered that he had a 1 day off before flying to Chiang Mai to intern at his dad's law firm in that city. He dialled his phone and called his Dad. Sadly his dad wasn't picking up " Maybe Dad is busy" he thought to himself so he called his Mom instead.
A few rings later " Hello, Hi son what is it? I am in the middle of surgery" her Mom informed him
" Im sorry Mom, its nothing important... I'll talked to you later I am sorry." he said in panic
" What is it? I can spare some time" Her mom insisted
" Ahm... there is this concert tomorrow night, a music festival, can I go with Win and Gun?"
"........"
Gulf sighed he get it " Its okay... if you'll say no"
he stammered
" What's your schedule tomorrow?" his mom asked him
He double check his planner before answering
" Its my break mom, I have no schedule. I promise if you let me go I will intern in Dad's associate too" he remarked worriedly
" Have you asked your Father?"
" He isn't picking up" he replied
" ........."
" Its okay Mom, I understand"
" Just... Just be careful and be home by 11pm" his mom concurred
" Yes!!! thank you Mom! ohhh and I have a 3 hour break today, can I go to the mall to buy clothes?" he really is trying to push his luck now
"tsk..... asked the driver to drop you off. I have to go now, take care son, Love you"
" Thanks Mom, Love you too!" and then he hanged up.
Gulf stopped functioning for a moment, did he hear it right? He fucking asked her Mom to go to a music festival and she agreed. Gulf blink profusely before it finally sinked in to him that yes he his indeed going to a music festival.
He called Win to deliver the news
" Hello, Yes Gulfie?" Win picked up his call
" Ahmm... do you happened to have an extra ticket for the concert tomorrow? Gulf asked his friend nervously
" Hhmm.... let me check, why are you asking though?" Win inquired
